E3: Which next gen console?

What\'s your take? Which one would you buy?

XBox360 - won\'t buy it until the rumoured $100 price drop in October
PS3 - $550 or $660...WTF???
Wii - the video footage of Miyamoto playing tennis using the Wii controller looks intriguing

PS3 is going to be $660 releasing in November. As been told by a game freak frd.

I already own an XBOX360 and I am Happy with it. I will not be buying a ps3 because this marks the downfall of Sony. I might consider getting a Wii. I have not owned a Nintendo system since the N64. And nintendo is creating the same excitment I felt with the N64

id probably get the 360...was thinking about getting it in june...but if the price is going to drop in october ill definitely wait till then...then again does it make sense for me to buy a console just o play halo 3?????

I just saw in-game footage of Gears of War and Prey (on G4TV), both for the XBox360. They look incredible, in particular Gears of War.

They also had an interview with John Carmack who was asked which console, the PS3 or the XBox360, was the better console. He said they were both great consoles but the PS3 with its Cell processor is a little more difficult to program and it would take a developer/programmer willing to \"sweat blood\" to get the best out of the console. It looks like the XBox360 is looking better and better.

Also, the cheaper version of the PS3 not only has a smaller hard drive, but also lacks a few features that the more expensiver version includes (memory stick ports, wi-fi and 1080p output to name a few).

I\'m leaning towards PS3 due to BlueRay Technology. Also, I have tons of PS1 & PS2 Games that I can probably play on PS3. :hoho

\"Wii\" looks promising but the graphics, not too appealing.:sarc

ya this is what I dont understand. too many people are only into graphics graphics graphics...

but for me. I have no problem playing a fun game with okay graphics.

for some reason i love 2D games more then most 3D games. :p

Don\'t forget that the prices announced at E3 are in US!!!! Typically the canadian prices are $100 more.

N64 Was huge when it came out
GameCube wasn\'t that popular
but I think Wii is gonna make up for gamecube....

I was reading it\'s the size of 3 dvd cases...

I\'m a big fan of Mario and Zelda games aswell so I might have to get it especially if the price is only 200 USD...

My mistake...i just saw the 499 & 599 US prices....regardless it\'s still a lot. I really think Sony is making a mistake with the direction they\'re heading in with the PS3.

the canandian price for the ps3 that comes with the 20g hd if i remember correctly from the video is $540 the 60g one is over 600.
