I just got the PIAA H7 X White Plus for my 2006 Mazda 3 GT...I tried to install it, but somehow it\'s seems to be quiet different than the original halogen ( I mean as in the length of the metal part, seems to be much shorter ) and it doesn\'t seems to work. Did i bought the wrong bulb? Is H7 the right bulb for my car? :(

Are you installing the bulb for the low beam as in where the projector is? If you are then you bought the right one. If not then obviously you bought the wrong one

There\'s an adaptor at the bottom of the stock light bulb you have to slip off and put it on the bottom of the new bulb...

Thank you thank you. I will double check again to see if that works. And now I know I didn\'t buy the wrong bulb...woo hoo.:)

Yeah Mazdatree is talking about the black socket which connects to the H7 bulb itself. A lot of people think it\'s part of the old bulb but it separates when you have to replace it.

Oh and how many watts is the bulb? I would not recommend using a 100W since the stock bulb and harness are only designed to handle 55W.

The PIAAs he has are only 55W so he should be okay with his HID alternative ;)

Thanks alot. It\'s working. I was thinking those bulbs might be a little bit more blue in color...but nahhh...they almost look the same as the stock bulbs!!!!:( Any hook up on good lights other than the HID Kit? I want something alittle bit more blue and also want to replace the fog light too.

well it depends if you want bright white, I think silverstars would be the best.

If you want a little blue go eurolite or one of those other blue bulb brands.

if you want something that looks more like HIDS I saw tommy36 had some nice ones I believe they were piaa aswell... He had them in his fogs they matched his stock hids quite well....
