I just called FMP for Axela Badge/Emblem and they told me the price is $39!

Wow, Is it really that expensive? :(

I think you\'re better off getting it from ebay. I bought mine recently from this seller (http://cgi.ebay.ca/Mazda-3-Axela-Emblem-frm-Japan-Mazda3-SEDAN-HATCHBK-JDM_W0QQitemZ8065893512QQcategoryZ33643QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem) and it came straight from japan within a weeks time. It cost about $25 with shippin included.

if you\'re going to buy the axela badge I say buy the side markers and/or the door sills or anything else the guy might be selling.. that way the shipping cost will look like peanuts.. that is, if you were planning on buying that stuff..

start a group buy.. with all the new ppl here with new mazda3s I\'m sure there would be a lot of ppl willing to split the cost of shipping..

Hey, thought I\'d bump and old thread instead of starting a new one.

I\'m going to be ordering from HK-Plus in the next couple days, but I\'m a complete ebay noob.

If I want to order a few items, is there a way to order them all at once, as in a \"add to cart\" type feature? Or do you have to individually purchase them, and then hope the seller notices it\'s you on all the items and groups them together for shipping?

And yes, I tried searching on here, ebay, and google, but haven\'t really found an answer.

Ok they replied back but wanted the item numbers. I guess a copy of the descriptions was not sufficient.

Woulda needed to get a new quote with your items anyway.

Whereabouts are you located? And did you want me to confirm the price with you before I order? Or should I just go ahead?

Together those items only add up to about $11 or $12 canadian anyway, shipping will be the greater part of the cost, but even that I doubt your share would be more than another $10.

You could alternatively buy the side markers from mazda for nearly $80! :D

The combine shipping would be $48 for 5 items.

From my calculation, your portion would be about $15, and the cost of your parts combine add up to $10. So total to you would be $25 USD. Might be closer to $24, so I can double check if we go with this.


Also, nobody ever answered my question on buying multiple items. If I wanted to place this order, would I still do it through ebay? Or would it be outside ebay, so the order is properly grouped and shipped at the same time?

If your are purchasing multiple items from the same reseller, usually the reseller has made provisions for this. First, email the reseller saying that you are interested in purchasing several pieces of multiple items. If it not written in their instructions they will email you with instructions, usually this sort of thing is taken care of upon \"checkout\".

Things are taking forever, because I keep asking how I can buy, and get these cryptic non-helpful one liner responses, which make me repeat my questions over and over again.

So now I\'m assuming that I simply need to paypal them to whatever email address they give me, and post what I\'m ordering in the description box. I don\'t want to just send money and have it lost in limbo because it\'s the wrong address.

I don\'t know how bloody hard it would be for them to simply say, \"paypal the funds to this email address, and add in the description of the items you are ordering.\"

What I would do is grab a pair of the Axela emblems since they are have a BIN feature on that auction.

However, I am pretty sure that on the payment screen that there is a field that you can enter comments for the seller. That\'s where you will indicate that you also have set of purchases that you would like to bundle with this purchase so as to save on shipping.

I decided to buy off their webstore, and it worked fine. Once you commit to purchase you can keep shopping, so I had added the chrome blinkersx2 the axela badgesx2, and when I get to my door sills, it says I\'ve reached the maximum number of purchases with this seller for the next 10 days, and to contact them to become exempt.

Oh, Scorpio, I guess it makes it simple in splitting the price since I ordred the badges and chrome markers only so far.

It came out to $38 USD, and I think I saw that it took out $43 CDN from my account, so pretty cheap.

If you wanted to wait to see what Ken York can get them for that\'s fine, I\'m not worried about getting stuck with a spare as I\'m sure someone will eventually want one.

So total to you would be ~$21.50 canadian for both the side markers and the axela badge. I\'ll confirm with my bank account later to make sure I didn\'t misread.

I just sent them an email and hopefully they can make this right.

Ugh, as usual they sent me a very detailed and helpful reply finally after I\'d sent them two emails.

It read, \"The combined shipping charge for those 4 items is $25.\"

So I guess the $48 I was originally quoted was the total price, not some whack shipping amount.

Of course, they didn\'t say if I should paypal them that amount seperate or whatever.

This was on the chrome sidemarkers. Where it read, \"$5 shipping for the first item, $0 for additional items.\"

I guess $0 means $5...

Anyway, $20 is still good for your half, that\'s what I quoted you, and the least I could do for having your jack and jack stands this long. Still haven\'t finished the calipers, due to hangover. :(

Gonna order the stainless side sills, so asked if I should just overpay on that by $5 or what. Dunno why they didn\'t ship the other axela logo or whatever, since that was paid for in the shipping. I guess they are not in the business of customer service.

I explained the issue to them, and they replied with a shipping total. I re-explained and asked how to get the extra cash to them, and they countered with another email on the shipping total.

I RE-EXPLAINED AGAIN to them, and they then sent me a vague email that it is being shipped.

I then had to confirm I didn\'t need to do anything else, as in send cash, and they sent me a shipping #. So I guess alls well that ends well.

I think when I order again, if I have multiple items, I\'ll just make multiple single item purchases...

Replied to his PM a while back, but just for the sake of anyone here that hasn\'t ordered from them yet.

I received three orders from HK-Plus aka Ultimate Auto Parts. Not on any of these did I pay any form of duty. Most of the items they sell, the shipping cost is the larger part of the price, so not sure at what point duty may get applied. You can always order piece-meal if you want to avoid duty.

The bonus, (at least for me), is that UPS is not in this picture at all! Brown has never done anything for me. Personally, if this company went under, at least for consumer shipping, I\'d be pleased. They have the laziest fleet I\'ve ever seen. They will leave the \"delivery attempt\" sticker where they require the least amount of steps to get to, and will not under any circumstances actually try to buzz your condo number, or knock on your door. Die Brown Die! Err...wait, this is not a ups rant...forgot.. :hoho

Ok, well for all my items, they give you a tracking number, which you can trackon that site until it gets to canada, vancouver in this case. But from the main page of that tracking site, you can link to canada post and track from there. I love canada post. When they say out for delivery, I get my slip saying pick it up, travel 1km to the post office which has convenient hours and pick it up.

Unless you are hard up for a buck or two, I don\'t recommend getting alternate shipping quotes, unless you have a large order to make.

These people aren\'t speking teh engalish very well, and do their best not to ever address the question you actually ask. Easiest thing is to just pay the shipping listed on the site, as I don\'t think they really give much of a break on anything anyway.

I wanted to order 5 items, but ebay limited me to 4 saying check with vendor to become exempt. They seemingly didn\'t understand this, so just ignored that question.

Side sills were the most expensive item I ordered, and didn\'t pay duty. I think through paypal converted, with shipping included, it came to just over $40 for everything. Just incase you were thinking of ordering them.

I actually have my sills sitting on my ottoman with everything glued down so at some point I\'ll really have to post some pics of my ride, there are two in the \"Your current mods\" thread though.

If you have read all the way until this point, congratulations, you have exceeded my expectations! :D
