Thanks everyone......as for HID\'s, long story:

She wanted to get them for me, actually went to SpeedTech Auto and spoke with Sherman and he indicated that all of the kits he carried either weren\'t available in our size or were more expensive then they were worth. She also knew that I\'ve had my eye on the Prolumen kits from Devin. Well, she said to just go and buy myself a kit, but the problem is she likes HID\'s too and we often switch cars so we would really need two sets. So all of a sudden my $300 B-day present becomes $600 and I just don\'t want to spend that right now. I\'d rather put the money towards travelling or something for our condo. Plus, she\'s already bought me so many gifts!

So there you have it. If I end up getting $600 worth of b-day money from family and friends I\'d consider it, otherwise not gonna happen.

And to TheProf.....Happy B-day :D

Update (for those who care):

On Friday after work my wife came home and said to pack a small bag as we were gonna go \'away\'. So we quickly packed, I had no idea where to, and we got into the car and headed downtown. She had booked us a mini \'getaway\' at a really cool boutique hotel in the theatre district for the week-end. It was awesome.....the hotel room was huge, full marble bathroom with heated floors, awesome view of the CN tower and downtown Toronto, and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. On Saturday we headed out to lunch, and afterwards my wife took me to see The Lord of the Rings show. The show was great if you\'re a fan of the books/movies (which I am) so we had a great time. After that we had dinner at an awesome Indian food restaurant down the street (rated as the best restaurant in T.O. a few years back by NOW magazine). Sunday we headed over to the Toronto Islands to have lunch and take some pics of the city, but with the smog being so heavy it wasn\'t the greatest time.

All in all we had a great time......and the best part.....I got nearly $600 worth of cash for my B-day, so now I have to decide what Kelvin temp to get :)

Seems like an awesome trip there. Wish my gf would do that with me. :sarc

And as for the HIDs, go for 6000k. Best for white cars, white with a hint of blue
