Next week is my convocation even though Ive been finished for a long time. I got a letter saying my cumulative GPA is 3.5? What does that mean? Am I on honour roll? Someone please explain.

GPA grade point average
so ur cumulative GPA is a 3.5 over however many years ur inschool
at UofT
in undergrad
3.25 and up is with distinction
3.5 and up is with high distinction

i think it is usally dependent on the colleges
i.e
at uoft
each college has a gpa required to be on the dean\'s list
probably around what u got!

A 3.5 at Ryerson is different from a 3.5 at most other schools. :sarc (at ryerson)

some GPAs are out of 4.3

Legman, I hate to burst your bubble, but that 3.5 is equivalent to like 2.1 here in the Big Smoke. Partly because there is no equivalent to the \"Livestock Breeding and Selection\" and \"Heavy Agricultural Machinery Repair\" courses you have out there.
And if you really don\'t believe there is a difference in standards between Kitchener and Toronto, all you need to do is talk to bubba for 5 minutes.
