Hey 3GFX, I was seriously thinking of going just for the Sunday, leaving early that morning.

I have never been and maybe you could answer a question. If I get there early enough on Sunday, can I park in the track area, and what time would you say would be the best time if you know.

It will be my first time at the Montreal race, last year I went to Indy for that horror show.

Cheers.

forget about parking near the track... The track is on an island, so parking is extremely scarce especially on Sunday. Park the car downtown and take the subway like most locals do. Not to mention you will avoid all the traffic jam when the race is over.

Unless you\'re only planning to have a General Admission ticket you\'ll need to buy a 3 day pass. Now even with a GA ticket, you\'ll need to get to the track before the gates open just so that you can be at the front of the herd running for the decent viewing spots around the track....and unless you\'re really familiar with the track you won\'t know where those are!

As for parking, you can technically park at the casino but you\'re limited to when you can get in as well as when you can get out. The subway is really the only way to go in my opinion.

<rktsci> I was wondering for a GA ticket where is the best place to sit? Since I'm not familiar with the track at all. Thanks
