Has anyone received one of these before? I parked at on of those public \"Green P\" metro parking lots. I didn\'t pay for a ticket (one of those you insert coins into and you get a ticket where you\'re suppose to leave on your windshield). Instead of receiving one of those standard yellow parking infraction, I received a white \"Courtesy Ticket\" fine for $8. It gave me an envelope and I\'m suppose to mail it to TORONTO PARKING AUTHORITY, only accept cheque or money order, and says payment must be made withing 72hrs. On the envelope it has that circle green P sign, and says \"COURTESY ENVELOPE\"

Do I actually have to pay this $8?

It\'s mentioned on their website, so I don\'t see why not. Pay the $8 now instead of receiving a nice surprise come sticker renewal time.

Yup I got one of those before, but I paid on the spot and dropped into a metal box they had at the Parking Lot. I was luck, since I under paid they wanted the remainder, it was something like $2.

I would pay it on the spot as well. I smell a scam if they are asking to have it mailed..

anyone can get a post office box and slap a Green P name on it...

hmmmm... where to get Green P courtesy envelopes printed
