So it seems this is basically the only leather weighted knob that is available.

The metal ones, here in Canada, either freeze or burn your hand. Plus th eleather has a better grip with its texture. Anyways, has anyone tried this knob out? I want to use it with a short shifter but it seems like it sits kinda high. Any thoughts?

I\'ve scalded and frozen my hands on my MOMO Aluminum Sport knob. :(

However, I still prefer it over the stock leather knob.

I like the stock one too. But for the short shifter I want something weighted. It doesn\'t even have to be leather, but something weighted that\'s not metal touching the hand. My last car came with an aluminum knob (B&M Racing) and I never even botherd using it. Apart from the temperature changes, I found it to be a bit slippery and didn\'t like it.

with a short shifter, a weighted shift knob is a must... makes it so much easier and the feel is much better. I\'ve got a stainless steel one and yeah it does get a little cold in the winter but I wear gloves and in the summer it\'s not all that bad.

Now a weighted ceramic shift knob would be the shiet! you wouldn\'t feel a thing in terms of heat and cold. Too bad they don\'t make em.

with a short shifter, a weighted shift knob is a must...

I have the TWM SS with the stock knob. It's perfectly fine. In fact even my wife thinks it is fine and she isn't exactly the strongest person in the world.

Weighted knob is not needed at all.
