New To The Club

Hi All,

New to the club, but I\'ve been lurking for the past 2 weeks or so to see what\'s been going on.

Unfortunately, our 2000 Subaru Outback Limited Edition was stolen :( 2 weeks ago, so we\'ve been in the market for a new car for a while now.

We (the Commander in Chief and I) looked at many cars, and have decided to purchase a 2006 Mazda3 Sport GT from Mazda of Toronto. Had I have seen all this talk about Jeff from this dealership, I would have gone to him, but I instead got Arthur Chong as a salesman, and he\'s been totally accomodating and very cool about giving me a deal on stuff. :D

I hope to go finalize the paperwork this week on the new ride and I will definitely be at the next TM3 meetup whenever that will happen.

Anyways, that\'s about it from me for now. Glad to be here with some other Mazda peeps. :D

What colour are you getting?

We have major meets on the last Saturday of every month and there are mini meets in different areas of the GTA during the week.

Thanks... Arctic White is what the boss has decided.

I will try to get out to at least one meet a month... :D

The Kennedy Commons one for this month sounds cool, I live near to that at 401 and 404...... I might be able to make it if I can get the car in time. :D

:) White is sweet... you can\'t go wrong with white.

Unfortunately the Kennedy Commons meet was yesterday... so the rest of the meets are on either mondays (west end), weds (woodbridge) or thursdays (don mills/steeles)... just check and make sure it is the right week as they are every 2 weeks.

Not sure where the July 29th meet will be yet... keep checking the forum for updates.

The thursday meets usually have great turnouts!

Even if you don\'t have your car yet you can come out and check out other member\'s rides and start thinking what you want to do in regards to mods.. :)

Automatic tranny, a/c (of course!), moonroof and the luxury package.

I haven\'t factored in any accessories at this juncture, but probably get a few once I get some money again, cuz I know I\'m gonna be broke in about a week ha ha.
