Hey guys I did a search, and ive exausted most of my options. Anyone know what options we have for strut bars on the mazda 3. Ive found a few but i would like to have some more options before i buy one. Anyone with options or costs please chime in.

Thanks guys.

Paul.

I\'m pretty sure I saw one at Mazda of Toronto, a Vibrant strut bar. I don\'t know how much it was. I have an OMP strut bar in my hatch. IIRC, I paid about $180 for it a couple of years back. The only caveat with the OMP bar is that you\'ll have to modify or completely remove the battery box cover, on the Vibrant you won\'t have to.

Vibrant eh. I was looking at that one but i heard mixed reviews. If you see this Flippy what is your price on this? I saw it for about 56$US plus shipping (30 US) online so im assuming 110ish.... of course id rather buy it from around here somewhere.... Flippy be my hero.

Either way, they\'re purely cosmetic.

I picked up my Vibrant from flipspeed at MoT two weeks ago, with club discount it came up to about $87 taxes and club discount included. As for purely cosmetic, I think not, I have the progress rear sway bar as well. The strut bar certainly does stiffen the front end.

I agree. There is a difference. However, this is not the end-all be-all type mod. Does it tighten the front a bit? Yes. Is it the best mod for suspension/handling? No.

The Vibrant will cost you $80-100ish, and looks a word better than any other bar out there. Not saying it is the best bar (I have not seen any comparison testing) though. But would you rather spend 2x as much for an OMP or other if the difference is minimal? I wouldnt.... thats the reaosn I went Vibrant :) Hope that helps a little.

I\'ve also got a Vibrant thru a previous GB for $88ish, and I definitely think it\'s a worthy investment for that price range, as given that my car is lowered. It provides stiffer turns during corners, although not that significant.

I\'m getting the Vibrant bar soon. Good price for what you get.

I would pick up a sway before a strut bar.
I have both and noticed a significant reduction in body roll with my progress sway bar... the OMP strut felt like it \'neutralized\' the front but it wasnt anything major.

The strut bar?

Nope the one at the autoshow was for an RX-8.

Maybe soon? Haven\'t heard from Mazda yet.
