I was just wondering if anyone knows where Darknights is this year?
I\'ve heard that it\'s moving to a new location because Markham Fair Grounds is too small?
Anyone have any information?

Cancelled how come??? How do we go from moving to a large grounds, to cancelled??? :O


I was hoping to see a Mazda 3 section!!!!

Apparently Darknights won\'t be back until 2007. They are working on a much better place, I don\'t understand why they can\'t just continue this year at Markham Fair Grounds and move next year. =((

Too bad Importfest is so late this year. It\'s all the way in Novemeber.
Btw, anyone going to Auto Expo this coming weekend?

I\'m trying to get some tickets from a friend, but it\'s not looking to promising.

What would be cool is if we can get a list together of ppl that wanna go and see if we can get a group discount.

Anyone interested?

The only problem with that is the show is 3 days long with different events on each day. The price is also differnt for the 3 days. I beleive Friday is the cheapest.

I\'m not really sure if I want to go, as I heard that the event itself is not that great, and that the judging is sometimes corrupt.

For instance, a guy I know entered his VW (a beautifully/heavily modified GTI VR6) only to lose to a guy who slapped together his car with tape and bubble gum. The guy\'s body kit didn\'t fit properly, it didn\'t match the rest of the car\'s color, it was just a mess.

They invited him (the guy I know) back this year, and he refused. I can\'t really blame him.
