There are a lot of dangerous drivers on Toronto roads today, I agreed!!
I was driving to work this morning and would like to exit the ramp, but I cannot find a right spot to squeeze in to the line up. I admitted that I didn\'t line up to exit the ramp in the first place since I was driving too fast. Finally I had found a space that plenty enough to let me squeeze in. At this moment, the guy in a SUV decided he wouldn\'t let me in and accelerated to block me off. Both of our cars were parallel. He yelled from his car so I opened my passenger side window and listening. He said \"I won\'t let you pass to the front of me\" That\'s fine!! I said \"step on your gas padal and go ahead please\". Suddenly he SPITTED on my car and the fxxking spit was landed on the top of my cup holder lid (GOSH~~!!). I was shocked and thought WHAT CAN I DO?? I yelled at him said \"fxxk you and just go ahead axxhole!!\" while closing my window. He then show me a cunning smile and accelerated.
If you do not want to let me in because I didn\'t line up, that\'s ok; because that was my fault. But why you fxxking SUV axxhole spitted on my car?
What can I do? Any opinion?
piXXed off Sk. =(

Nothing at all.
Put on some ass-kicking music and drive away.
Always makes me feel better.

I always like giving the finger at stupid people. But damn the guy had to spit at you, now that just crossed too many lines.

What you did wrong was to open the window. Absolutely nothing good comes from you communicating with the other driver in a situation like this. Is his life going to change after your little exchange? No. So, the only thing you should do is to shrug it off and merge after him. Once you age and mellow, you realize that all this $hit is not worth it. Just wait for the open road for the Zoom Zoom...

If he spat on you in the street it would be assault. I don\'t see it being any different just because you are driving. You should have written his license plate down and reported it to the police.
Other then that just ignore people that are screaming and yelling.

The cops would\'ve laughed their asses off and would be right to do so IMO.
As WUD already stated, you escalated the situation and nothing good came of it. You put yourself in that whole situation by not \'lining up\' at the correct time.
Thats incredible, though at one point we all get the tail end of a poor driver. If you took down his plate you can complain to the regional police and they will put a note on his record, but thats about it. The best you can do is never roll down the window.
I agree you shouldn\'t have rolled down your window, but the cops have to report stuff like this as it could happen again and he would have this \"road-rage\" mark on his record.

Weather he contributed to the situation or not, being spat at is assault and I hardly think the cops would laugh at him and would have no choice but to charge him. Will the charge result in a conviction? who knows, that is not up to the cops but the judge.

Hey, if you want to walk into a police station and tell them you were spit on, they\'re gonna ask why:

:sarc
I\'m sure the cops can put a hold on catching murderers and rapists so that they can find the guy who spit at another motorist! Keep in mind that there are two sides to every story ;)
