Was hoping majic could search the forum for me and find out if it

I\'m pretty sure you should be fine (but I want to hear a second opinion)..

You don\'t need an alignment if you are just mounting new tires. The camber, caster, and toe are all unaffected by tire changes.

Ray don\'t listen to these guys.

Just get one done to be on the safe side.

You put some good money on tires want to make sure everything is up to spec.

Let me just add to my response. If you are about due for an alignment, or you have any of the signs of a bad alignment (uneven wear on your current tires, drifting to the left or right, etc.) then by all means get one. But if you just got one recently, then chances are you don\'t need it. But if you just want peace of mind, get it.

When Speedtech put my new Rims and Tires, I asked them if I need an alignment. They said not necessarily. :)

Stupid question. What kind of things would cause the tire out of alignment? I am sitting at Mazda service centre right now and they just told me I need one. Pretty Pi$$ right now, since I have to cough out another $100.

Any road imperfections such as potholes. Curb hopping in winter. Speed bump jumping.

Wait....

The Mazda service centre is telling you that you need an alignment? Were any of your tires wearing unevenly? Was the car pulling to one side? If not, then they are taking you for a ride. Those are pretty much the only ways to tell if a car needs alignment without putting it on the alignment apparatus.

I didn\'t notice big pull of the car to one side and didn\'t check the tires b4. Damn...I feel like i just got scam. Well, note for everyone else and myself next time....
