Like many of you... I wanted to get rid of that ugly antenna.. I figured the shark fin was the most stylish way to go and being that it comes colour matched to my car, I couldnt refuse. So I ordered it through Visual Garage in Richmond BC. Well it has been 4 weeks and no fin..... nor have I gotten an email letting me know when I will be getting it. They have taken the money via paypal. In the meantime, I have tried to contact them twice via email with no reply.... no phone call ... nothing. I looked for a phone number for them, and no dice. I cant even call them as they dont even have a telephone number. I assume a lot of you have dealt with Visual Garage in the past with no problems.... but I cant help but feel like I have been robbed here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. At this point I would have to advise people not to use them... very disapointed.:(

You haven\'t been reading the forums enough
go to devin98/The Xenon Store
There\'s was a GB for shark fin antennas.
atleast with him, you know where to find him.

edit: wait, you said from Richmond BC? so do you live locally or in vancouver?

Hmm VG is located in BC and he purchased it directly from them via Ebay. I did the same as well. Its been over 3 weeks and I have emailed Arthur. He told me the antenna will be shipped out mid week. I hope hes right and if I dont receive any confirmation by Friday, I will fire off another email. If you really think you got robbed, then just file \"an item not received\" with ebay and get your money back.

I see. well I think you will recieve it. it\'s not really in the guys best interest to shaft you.
just very very late.

jag: did he give you some sort of confirmation number or anything to track the thing?

Chuckie,
No he didnt. But he said once the item is shipped, he will give me a confirmation number. I thought this company was the only one selling shark fin\'s so I thought there wouldnt be any problems with them

I must say that I am also disapointed in Pay Pal..... I have filed a complaint with them regarding this transaction. Three emails later.... emails that I spent about 30 mins a piece to be descriptive enough so they could offer constructive advice... and not have to use the only number provided.... a long distance US number. What I would like to know... How does a company of this size (Pay Pal) not have a respectable customer service number? I would figure that a company that has millions of dollars of transactions and fees paid by both the buyer and seller would in the least have 1 toll free number...... Im just as disapointed in Pay Pal :(
On a lighter note.... I should have renamed this thread as \"JPAV8S4U\'s Rant\" :) ha ha ha!
BTW... At work today,,, security took my shampoo, toothpaste... shaving cream... and water... Crazyness..... And I fly the damn things! :p

Yes Paypal is definately difficult to deal with. On a side note, I just a confirmation email for the shipment of my shark fin today! They also gave me a canada post tracking number. Btw, tommorow would have been the 4 week mark of my purchase.

Well with all the biatchin.... I got an email stating that the item had been shipped out on the 9th.... with the email came a canada post traking number.... I was thinking this was it.. finally it is on its way and im not getting robbed. Well it seems as though the traking number doesnt work, so I called Canada Post. The customer service lady said they had no info on it. She then told me that it could take up to 48 hours to get any info on the package. So I called back today 48 hours + and no info yet. Was this last email a way to buy himself more time? I dunno..... but I am pretty pissed at VG!:sarc

sometimes i have that problem with canada post where the tracking number dont work. Normally I give it a day or so and its fine. Ask Arthur if that is the correct tracking number, maybe he made a typo.

The best way to get Sharkfin Antenna is through Devin. I highly recommend him. :)

A little late for that now ;) I wish I had.... I did actually send devin a few PM\'s here on TM3.... asking price (if there was a TM3 group buy still...) and if it was able for local pick up amongst a few other things, but never got any answers other than to check out his site and all I needed to know what there. Im sure he is a good guy as he come highly recommended here. I must have gotten him at a busy time! Next time I will only deal with recommended dealers from here. I always seem to learn lessons the hard way :)
