Washing Car After Body Kit Installtion

What is the standard protocol in terms of washing the car after a body kit installation? I was told that I should wait a few days after the body kit installation before proceeding to wash the car and lightly wax the new parts. Is this true? If so, how many days should I wait before washing/waxing?

After installing a body kit, it shouldn\'t matter how long you wait. Unless you just got a paint job - then I would wait until the paint cures. You should ask the shop that painted it how long it takes for the paint to cure. In general, you should wait about a week.
