Anyone know where\'s the cheapest place to rent a full size car (Magnum/Charger, Grand Prix, or Fusion preferred) for a week? I was quoted at $270 tax-in by National for a Grand Prix / Impala.

I need unlimited KMs and the car needs to be allowed into the US.

does that include the optional insurance to cover damages to the rental vehicle or does your credit card cover that?

My own insurance policy from my car covers it.

I was going to rent a Magnum from Thrifty, until I saw this:

# Unlimited km rates, when available, are for Ontario only. Vehicles taken outside Ontario and/or into USA will receive 200 km/day and CAD .20 each additional km for the entire rental.

I anticipate racking up at least 2500-3000km on the vehicle (which is one of the reasons I\'m not driving my 3). Now if only I could find a manual-transmission rental...:D

Found this the other day - not sure if any of the codes would apply outside of Florida, but it looks like some of the deal (i.e. all Walmart customers or CAA members) would.

Worth a try.

Try Budget Car Rental. If you have a costco exclusive membership, they give it to you a little bit cheaper. ;)
