how much do we need to get until we have the loot to cover this!

i propose that we get a westside and eastside member to collect donations at the mini-meets
i tried to make a donation, and paypal said i had a different card to the account and i couldn\'t updated it and . . .

so i will start collecting donations at west meets (and east meets when i go)
and i will give it to you, and you can update the slush fund numbers
and we can get these decals made!
sounds good?


I will collect names as well, that way people can be credited with donation on the board (in the thread that you are crediting people in)


edit: i still think memberships are still the way to go to get the slush fund up, since it is basically at zero!

sounds good, more than willing to donate some loot to the club. i\'ll hand it over to Big bad broli next time i see him.

Last time it cost us $160 + tax to get the decals rolling. If we were to use the total amount of cash in the members fund, we\'d only need about another $40.00 (just under $150.00 is in the members fund at this time). This is assuming that the new design will cost the same to produce as the old design.

That\'s IF members agree that the members fund should be used in this way. Please also note that there are other projects on hold as well. Another major project on hold is the License Plate Covers, which will costs $300.00+ to start due to the fact that the minimum quantity is 150 covers.

I bet if we do collections at the eastside/westside meets we will get that in no time.

like i said i cant seem to get the freaking paypal thing to work
either way i will make my donations at the next meet i am at!

i would advertise in the various meet threads to collect
but that won\'t do much good now, with the website hacked
and most people not on at the momement!


ultimately we want to have the slush fund a permenant source of start up capital
for the club, hopefully when we get these decals and plate covers going, the profits will build up
a nice level, from which to fund future projects!


Meets i will attend and collect donations

1. Wed Aug 30, at La Paloma
2. Thursday Aug 31 AA meet (maybe, if not i will get someone else to collect)
3. Masiv Monday Sept 4th
4. Wings meet tuesday Sept 5th


Any little donation is helpful, we understand that money doesn\'t grow on trees,
but a few dollars, most people can afford to part with!

I am going to look into getting the decals done. as soon as I get pricing, I am going to post a poll in whether or not the Members Fund should be used in it\'s entirety, or partially to get the decals done.

Thanks to member\'s donations, there should be enough to get the decals up and rolling.
