Looks good... but a little late in the game with the new G35 and BMW\'s out for 2007. A little pricey and you get a little less. No info on the canadian site.
Go to Acura USA (http://www.acura.com/).. there is a mini site for the TL Type-S

Looks wayyy too busy for a TL...
I thought that TL-S would have integrated antenna just like all other Acura cars?

I think that antenna is for the NAVI unit.
Not feeling for those tail light trims.

Liked the TSX better. Not feeling it for the TL.
Would take a BMW 330i over this.

Not a big fan of the wheels. They look like rims taken from a Altima SE-R.

Rear tails look to riceyh...original look way better
The wheels are so Altima SE-R...
They riced up a poor mans semi-executive car...
...286hp...going to the front wheels...pwnt...
For the price I would go with the new Infiniti G...at least it has more power and puts it to the rear (or AWD optional)

FWD is good in snow, and rwd isnt. AWD is the best all-rounder..

You know what, FWD is better in snow yes, but with newer vehicles it isn't so bad anymore.
Take for instance my buddies 06 3 series...that thing is balanced and really not that bad in snow compared to my previous 3. Now you compare that with a Mustang...and then you can say fak RWD...its gonna kill me!
New cars especially like the Infiniti G, BMW 3 series...etc. come with a lot of aides that help you get around just fine, and turning off those aides can provide a lot of fun :P
RWD\AWD > FWD
For instance if the MS3 was RWD there probably wouldn't be one left on the lot!

If rwd with all the aides, why dont you see them in rallies, or in newfoundland.. ontario doesnt have that much snow!!! .. Picture BC with alot of mountains, hilly terrain and with wet snow.. lots of it, then will see which is better.. For me awd is the best option....

I saw a TL-S on the QE last week, just before Oakville going east, Ontario plates, drove beside it for like 10 min in traffic, it looks pretty good IMO.

Ai dzont kar...FWD is dead to me, one more thing was added to my life parameters when I test drove the 15 or so cars when I bought my AWD Mazda...
Life Rule Parameters: #9546 Avoid FWD cars at all costs...RWD/AWD brings happiness
Think about it, like I said b4...if Mazda made the MS3 a RWD car (not even bothering with AWD) ...there wouldn't be one on the shelf left, especially if the transmission was at the back...ie. transaxle...the car would be a dream...but no its FWD with ECU power dampening, and to top it off, butter engine/trans mounts...and blah blah blah that surely put out a lot of enthusiasts.
This is the rundown of a MS3 test drive...1st/2nd Apply power...wheels slip...somethings weird goin on with the front wheels....then bang bang bang...engine mounts wanna say Hi...you tell em to go to hell....you keep on the power in a curve...ohh noes you are goin wiiiide....you let go of the gas...the engine slams back into the mounts as the load is released....you look in the rearview to check if you dropped something...nope....go back...thank the pale salesman...shake fists at the Designers/Engineers...
The car would simply be on another level with stiffer all-around mounts and RWD (even better a transaxle setup ...it would be possible, if at least with just a diff in the back and a regualar tranny setup)...it would be a balanced, fire breathing sport hatch, that would give a lot of other cars a run for their money...ahhh the pipe dreamzzz
Now you look at the GTI...less power, stiff engine mounts (without any added vibration, if not less)...you apply power...nothing holds you back, full tq is applied in 1st/2nd as god intended...you don't feel the engine tryng to kiss the firewall etc...while a LOT better in that aspect...its still a FWD wanker...
As for the rally mention...I would like to see a comparable FWD car try to keep up with this baby. Oldschool Bimmmmma @ the Isle of Man! SLAAAAAAAPPP!
Snow would be different sure, but even a couple of years ago we really didn't get anything that bad on the streets in the GTA...and if you are carefull you can get around just fine (wth do you think happens in Deutschland where the RWD cars are a dime a dozen), plus in a decade or so Canada will be a tropical paradise buahhaahhah
