Weston and 401 - Ill get back on proper location
(there is a park in the area that houses about enough spots for 120+ cars and if you go further down the path is along the Humber River)

BBQ will be on the list, but will not be full decided on until I see the amount of Interest. Cruise can be arranged for afterwards. We will work out the deets in terms of sports, but there is room to throw a football, frisbee or baseball around. Can even break out a soccer ball or something.

Lets see if people are interested, no more chat on the date or anything or even whether this is the last meet or not. There will still be other events but lets close off the season with a proper meet. Lets see the attendance numbers get back to what they should be!

Alright since I just posted it, I am changing the date to make it work better. The C7 Falltour falls on October 15th (the sunday after) I can see people not coming out on the saturday because of it so im changing this to a week earlier.

Yah I am going to bug Thomas again to post the location that him and myself found. I was planning on changnig this to a cruise since it didn't seem like a good turn out but it seems to be growing. I guess maybe I wont do that idea.

Was planning an hour to hour and a half cruise with one stop for a drink pit stop and another for photo ops. Then from there hit up a place for dinner. Are people obliged to that? Let me know your thoughts, if so it stays where it is and try to setup the bbq idea.

I am going to setup a cruise with a 3:30 depart and push the meet time back to 5-5:30pm. The cruise will bring us back to the meet location and it will be the best of both worlds. I am going to work on a route and post it up. This way it will still be a good thing for the late people to show up to. Also, for all those looking for a fall cruise with the leaves this will be a great opportunity.


I want to make this a worthwhile event...WHO IS WITH ME! I am actually quite excited.

no one said YOU have to do it. go to one of those car washes for charity drives, in about 5 rounds they'll do a decent job. ;D

well, i have the same worries too~ never been any meet and first one gonna be cross province~ especially i am driving from MTL to toronto and not knowing the direction that well

Alright the plans are going to be as follows.

There is going to be two trips of people heading over to Island Lake Conservation park. One batch earlier in the day and another batch in the afternoon. From there people will have the chance to do a photo op and we will cruise out afterwards. The cruise will finalize at Vinnie Zucchini's at Dufferin & Steeles.

One group will be departing at 11:00am
Meeting spot will be at AMC Courtney Park (Hwy 10 & 401 - just north of the 401) over near the McDonalds parking lot.
This group plans to go spend the day hiking etc. The weather looks to be really nice so some of us would like to take this opportunity to enjoy it.

The second group will be departing at 3:00pm
