What an idiot. In death he garners the attention he could never aspire to get in life. It's hard to believe more people didn't die.

Not the point I was trying to make.

This is a temporary home until we find a new one (or return to the old one). What happened in Montreal was a terrible thing, but everyone is already inundated with information about it from every direction.

Allz I'm saying is that we should keep this forum light.

Take it ease, as a famous TM3 member would say.

This is a serious topic and I don't think it should be removed or not talked about. If you don't like it don't click on the thread. That's why I asked for the 'Off-Topic' forum, as that can and usually is quite light.

well, this is a sad situation
i think that more information this guys is important

what if he had some sort of mental disorder,
it is hard in those cases to call these people monsters

if they have no support and no care, they will not get better

who knows . ..

he probably is just some dumb assbstd

but still, these sorts of things should be thought of

and spoken about as well

maybe you misunderstood me..

to me it was text vs pix.. text is SFW pix (some) aren't.. discussions on the topic are fine.. i'm not trying to censor anyone in that way but i just don't know if everyone wants to be exposed to the pictures.. linking them is ok.. if you choose to go see them that's cool but not when they are up in your face.. that's just my opinion.. and up for a discussion..

Just to answer "TheProfessor's" question, The Game is called Super Columbine Massacre RPG.

Again, I apologize if anybody is offended by this post. This is strictly for information purposes only.

I don't know why there's a game like this, but here's some statement from the creator.

"I said this game is one of the most important in gaming history, which I meant for two reasons. First, [the creator] has used a video game (successfully, I might add) to explore an important socio-cultural event. This is, hopefully, the first step towards the acceptance of video games as a legitimate medium for the expression of serious thought. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it is one of the only psychological explorations of the Columbine killers ever completed, and its sincerity is evident in the care displayed in the design of the game. It reminds us that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the murderers of Columbine, were victims of Columbine, as well." - Ryan Moore, The Pale Writer

he didn't have any criminal record nor pyschiatric/mental issues. altho some will say otherwise since his perspectives on humans in general were of a negative and evil kind.

he had one last friend a while prior to the events that occured. he told that guy to take a hike because that guy "liked humans."

Mr. Gill would have been pretty useful, albeit for only a few minutes, if dropped into Al-Qaeda territory.

With the exception of the very last sentence this has to be the biggest pile of crap I've ever read.

For this video game to even come close to "serious thought" about an important "socio-cultural" event would require the people to actually experience the horror of the situation the victims found themselves in. Moving your joystick around killing people is as far from a "psychological exploration" as I am to being at the Vatican. A bunch of pixels moving around a screen would never let you into the mindset of the two killers. What they thought of the victims or even what they thought of each other when they took there own lives. How is the horror of those that survived the incident and have to live with the guilt of not being dead explored?

The player has the option of "playing" another game. In real life there is no button for that. Games are out there to make money and some are violent in nature. Although I find it extremely distasteful, making a video game about a real life situation is not illegal. Some might find it entertaining. But to disguise the intent of making this video game through this double talk is insulting at best.

My comments aren't directed at cyberscorpi0.

The statement posted was from "columbinegame.com".

I'm also trying to understand the concept of making a video game like this. I totally disagree of real life tragedy on Video Games.
