Started doing last-minute prep for tomorrow's promo video shoot for a volunteer organization....... read the re-vised script, everything has changed from an indoors shoot on white backdrop to street-style interviews.

WTF. Just finished picking up rental video lights and the wrong type of mic for an outdoor shoot. Plus I don't have a shoulder mount for my camera.

No more pro-bono stuff unless I'm the creative director.

Wow, that's just ridiculous! It's soo offensive sometimes the way people think these days. My friend teaches piano, she took all sorts of extra piano classes and extra schooling to be a teacher, and then even more to study music and learn piano so she could be at the top of her craft, and these parents call her up and ask for piano lessons, and then after it's over they try and haggle the price!


As for me, this client decided that because he didn't listen to us and one of his company's core systems has gone down—resulting in having to send everyone home with pay for two days— that it's our fault, and proceeded to yell and swear and slander us, and berate us while we're trying to fix the problem. So my boss said "**** it, let him sweat it out" and we let him sit for half a day then sent the new guy who knows absolutely nothing (literally all he can do is unhook servers and take them out of the racks—so that's all he did lol). I understand being frustrated, but he was soo unprofessional and rude that my boss was on the verge of punching him out. And it's his own damn fault for not listening to us in the first place.

Great Friday morning story. I have to share because I'm sill laughing.

So I see this douchebag in a large pickup (probably an F150) FLYING up behind me. We stop at a red light and I take off quick when it turns green so I can get the hell out of his way. He is totally on my ass and when he gets around me he's probably doing about 130 in an 80 zone.

I'm casually coasting along and see he's stopped at a red light ahead. This does NOT make him happy that I am slowly catching up, so he turns right, and makes a U-turn so he doesn't have to wait... idiot... the light turned green about a second later, a lot of wasted effort on his part.

We continue down the road, him still pushing 130, me coasting at 80, and we both come to a red light in 2 turning lanes. I pulled up beside him killing myself laughing and shrugged my shoulders... he DID NOT like this AT ALL.

When the light turned green he revved the shit out of his truck, but alas, the grandpa in front of him decided that he was not going to move too quickly, and I casually made my way in front of him while he ended up getting stuck about 10 cars back.

Moral of the story, if you drive like this, you look like a TOOL!!! People can and WILL laugh at your expense. And then write about it on a car forum.... hahahha :chuckle

They remote accessed my comp, told me i've been hacked and over 1000 pieces of info have been sent off my computer. Told me I cant install norton till they remove these DNS-server hacks. offered me a 399$ option or a 199$ option. f**** norton. returning this garbage. I'll have my comp exposed, for that much. 5 year old computer and they want me to pay 400... ya right. AND THENNN... they say even if i buy a new comp, immediately they will hack into that cause same IP adress..... who can help me with this? stupid technician was rude, agressive on the sale, and hardly knew english....
