I spent most of my summers here. My great uncle owned hogans store/takeout, hogans restaurant and the cabins. The cabins are still in the family. The restaurant is closed and the takeout was sold( it's not fit to eat now anyways)

Right now I'm looking at the ocean and the entrance to the sands.
The sands were sold a few years ago to a member of a local band (The O'Leary's and Michael Doyle) as well as the takeout. Since then the place has become a ghost town.

I've done nothing but sit on my deck drinking beer since I left St Johns. I was expecting a ton of my family to be here but no one has showed. If it wasn't for the wedding next Friday I'd be home already. You can only spend so much time on George st before you need to go home for a rest.

That was my thought process when I bought my Mazda 3. Pay cash and have no car payments, or get the car I've wanted for ages (Genesis) and deal with car payments.

Sharknado type winds took over for like 10 minutes. Heavy rain. My car didnt get touched ( somebody knew ) but my neighbours cruze got 2 nice dents. Apparently a tree with roots got uprooted onto a house. Step dad is a hydro lineman as just got called out.
