Came back from Haiti last weekend..

Meanwhile on my connecting flight to Miami on my way back, there was a medical emergency on the plane. Both experiences were exciting, rewarding and humbling.

In other news (first world problems) spent most of my day at service Ontario trying to renew my health card. After several trips, each agent having changing requirements, still no success. Was lectured that free health care was a privilege, not a right at one point. Wasn't even asking for trouble nor a lesson. Thank you OHIP.

If I had all day I would tell you about the LOVELY experience we have had with doctors lately.

It reassures me why I have not seen one in about 12 years.

Oh man, tell me about it. Going home to Etobicoke from Waterloo was a PIA last night. Ended up getting off on Brock, and taking some sketchy ass (ie really fun to drive) back roads till hitting the 401 again somewhere in 'sauga. 2 hour detour alone; but man were the roads fun (and kinda scary) as hell.

it is considering that I have a bunch of assignments to finish (and not easy ones either... each one will probably take me atleast 2 -3 hours and some might take even more) as well as prepare for a pretty big presentation that will take infront of a fewer higher level people from a fairly big company( The first real proffesional presentation in my life :s ) .

its actually the OBDII BT adapter I bought off another member today. works great with my phone... going to get a suction cup windsheild phone mount soon though as the hud mode is nice but i cant really find a way that would make sure the phone doesnt go flying in the case of (god forbid) a collision. Currently im using the sticky mat thingy that rimrim was handing out at h4h... but i cant rely on it for long... only for short runs....


I probably will run this daily for a few days and then only use it sometimes....

hahah no no, dual income no kids. My wife makes a significant amount more than I and she is just as much into cars. Also, we're old man. I am not saying this is cheap but my option package priced out before tax is only 49k. You can pick up the base CLA250 for 30k. These are entry level cars.

I agree Mr. Wilson, I would take the A45 in a heartbeat over the CLA but as you said, not coming over here anytime soon.

So who is interested in picking up a 2010 mazdaspeed 3? Come spring I should have about 53,000km on it. Completely stock outside of a CAI. It will be a fast sale so ill be pricing it right!

There should be legislation for mandatory nap times at the work place.

I've been saying this for years. I swear we'd all be so much more productive! I remember reading about Japan having something like this. Where you can go to like a "nap saloon" during your lunch break and just take a nap.

alignment is set up so the can turn left better than right.
a teacher of mine in college used to race the dirt track, and was having trouble winning. once he figured out the alignment, he was passing others left right and center. or so he said.

Lol that it is. People are retarded. That's the problem haha. I hate traffic but ill put up with it because its better then looking like a moron either driving on the shoulder or reversing up the on/offramp. Just boggles my mind sometimes haha.

also lol at the people who are too impatient and get off at the next offramp... and traffic clears up just a few km after that...

I mean dont get me wrong, if traffic is REALLY backed up then i would detour too... but in most cases it only happens because people dont leave big enough gaps between cars and some people dont know how to properly merge in heavy traffic...

Think about it this way - semester is already drawing to a close. Take those 2 weeks to psych yourself up to break the ice.
