Hmm maybe it's worth a shot. Was also thinking it might be easier to just take the whole side skirt off, as I believe there's just two screws on either end. But these come with some sort of adhesive from the factory too if I'm not mistaken, so that might prove to be trickier to take off than just the extension.

Anyone here have any experience with ATE premium one rotors (CW25170) and ATE AT1044 brake pads from Canadian tire?


The reviews on tire rack show there is a 50/50 chance of early warping/ pad wear.


Or should I just spend the extra money on OEM rotors and pads?

No they aren't. At least the HPS ones in the blue package.

^^^HPS are fine, it's the HP+ that can be aggressive on rotors......and your ears.

right after you posted that I just realized I crossed the 2000 mark lol





also not having a good day.

First I wake up with a cold... then when i go to wash my very salty car at the touchless... the fricking glide car wash ( bradford location) doesnt work properly and ends up turning the sprayers on too early and only 1/4 of my car gets semi washed and the dryer didnt even dry the washed portion. Went back inside... ( full rage mode..... note: asyed rarely goes full rage mode unless its really grinding my gears) and complained... got myself another car wash ticket for free. Went back to the wash... was running smooth until i made my selections.... then the screen was stuck at "please wait until vehicle infront has entered the wash".... guy running the wash tries to fix while i wait... 10 min pass and its still not working... guy has no choice but to close the car wash. Now I still have a valid ticket and am going to take my frozen/salty car there in a few hours and see if its fixed. Otherwise eff petro and Im going to get it washed at Shell and then message petro canadas customer service department. While I do have a season pass, the pass cannot be used again for today and I want my moneys worth. The other glide locations are in Toronto and the ticket expires tonight.


The people at the gas station really need to get their crap straight... their gas pumps werent working either and everyone had to pay inside ( they do this on a very frequent basis... once or twice I understand but its turning out to me switching gas stations....)
