One of our labs picked up a 3-D printer yesterday and printed this out for me today...new key chain. They are now working on a larger size model of a Wankel Engine. Then they will start project work haha.

That's interesting, years ago before I left BOEING aircraft, they were already experimenting with 3d manufacturing, basically creating parts from a large bucket of carbon dust/material of some sort...actually watched a very simple part being manufactured...It was like jumping into the future lol....I still wonder how far they've come along since then.

Yea, 3D printing is definitely progressing. From low-strength stuff to high-strength stuff as well. For low-impact and low-tolerance applications, it's a good replacement for low-pressure die castings.

Seeing as you were told youd get it you have the right to be pissed. BUT I had a tattooist alter one for me within 30 min. So I wouldn't be to pissed. Just go and see what you think of the design. If changes are to be made and you have to wait a long time then be pissed.

Did yiou buy Racelands from shub? And they wont have time for a coil install i dont think, if it takes as long as springs to be installed

Coils are faster than springs. You don't have the whole compress/decompress step to deal with. Still takes a good chunk of time though.

Dam you should have told me, I would have helped out for sure (taken my IM multiple times for injector seals + TIG). I got hockey after work though so that's kinda priority :P

Make sure you tie the washer to a string/thread for the TIG to a string on the lowest bolt... that saved my life when I dropped it when trying to hold it in place while aligning the bolt.

intake manifold gasket and OCC install could take a while....

just be careful when removing the belt. Don't want to get your hand/fingers caught in that

Wasn't too bad, prolly 5 hours total having never done it before. Took a while to disassemble and find all the right bolts lol could easily have it off in under an hour now. OCC part was easy, I've done one before without removing IM...and it's super easy once the IM is off lol

The belt wasn't bad with two people, I can't imagine doing it without help though....I could see how the fingers could get squished real bad.
