When I was applying for my program ( which is capped at 60 seats ) I had to submit a portfolio consisting of certain stuff I drew/built). I submitted it at around midnight and got a call the following morning (a fricking call...not some email or other mail ) saying I was accepted.

you just have to be more alert of people around you. And from my experiences in driving that late, Yes you may come across the ocaasional driver who thinks its ok to do 160+ at this time but then again officers are well aware of this and most of those idiots get caught. As long as you drive at a reasonable speed, keep well aware of your surroundings and dont take advantage of the situation you should be fine.


As for how often i drive that early, lets just say that there have been times where ive had to stay on campus to work on assignments that couldnt be done at home.

Also anyone who thinks its ok to do 90 on the 400 series highways should seriously stick to the smaller roads. the only exception is if something is wrong with your car or you are driving a semi truck or other heavy vehicle that cannot get up to speed as fast.

I do it more often then I'd like since I usually end up being DD for my friends. 400 is very clear give or take 3 or 4 other cars going the same direction you are. And fortunately, these people will always move over if they see you going faster than them

I take the 400 every day. At least twice. From 401 to hwy 9. At all different times. Including at least 3 times a week during that time. I have driven that route for 12 years.
I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that left lane hogs are out in full force on the 400.

That being said I can't comment on the 404/DVP. I stay away from it as much as possible.

And on the whole highway thing.. I think it's totally fine to drive in the farthest left lane, and not be doing much more than 100 IF there is no one behind you or if you are at least driving faster than the person in the middle lane. Obviously though if you have a car approaching that is going / wants to go faster, move over.. I think things become situational when on the highway, it all has to do with whatever else is going on around you.. People just don't adjust their driving in different situations, that's the problem.. I haven't been driving that long though so I guess my opinion is only so valid :P

I want to drive the autobahn. Highway with no bars hubba hubba. The bike is the closest thing to being free. I am one of those people that lane split, but dear God. If I don't i would commit harakire right there.
