My car needs a bath... So much construction on roads by my work (August was the last time I washed it)

As someone who recently made the switch from iPhone to Android after about 2 years worth of research and deliberation... All I can say is... both phones suck. There are things that I will miss a lot about iPhone (Like being able to play music over USB in my car), but I definitely enjoy some of the Android features as well...

Also had a big debate with myself as to whether I should switch to Wind (away from Virgin Mobile), but that's a whole another story.

See I've had a blackberry for 4 years now and truthfully I've loved it. Monday the keyboard didn't work. I dropped it and smashed it on my desk and bam works perfectly every since. Wtf?? I'm going to miss having the keyboard though. That's one of the things I didn't wanna part with. But after using my brothers 5s I'm totally down. Its easy to use, I know how to use iTunes. Androids are nice. A guy at work has the galaxy S5 or something (massive like 7" screen on it) and its awesome. Ill just be glad to have apps like Kijiji and a better tapatalk then blackberry does. And yea virgin isn't great but wind is horrible for service especially out in the 519 area. Fido has been good to me. And with them I'm getting 100 knocked off my phone for paying the bill.

Its not from Simply but there's a place called Detmer Tires in Guelph. I got myself a set of Firestone Winterforce last year from them. All said and done it was 400 for them? But mine are 195/65/15s but I don't expect the 16s to be too much more. And they kick ass.

Hankook ipike are popular choice. I have not use them but base on the GB list frm previous yrs, it was a popular choice.

Whatever you do don't get Dunflops. Have them as winter tires (GraspicDS3) and they are pretty crap in the snow... Almost feels like an all season tire.

Good thing living in Toronto you don't get as much snow as us in the 519 haha.

we still get quite a bit up in bradford.... not as much as barrie but still quite a bit.

Come on down to the 519. We will show you snow. Guelph all the way up highway 6 to Owen Sound gets caked with snow. The road I take to work feels like a tunnel with how high the snow banks are. Especially last year.

My first set of winter tires were Michelin Xice2 (predecessor to the Xice3 so perhaps not so relevant) bought from SimplyTire. I actually used them a lot in waterloo/kitchener during some nasty snow storms (takes them awhile to clear the roads down there plus the snow really accumulates). Looking back they seem overpriced, lasted 5 seasons, not so good in slush and deep snow.

I've heard great things about the Hankooks from coworkers and would probably go for mid range winter tires that were good in slush if I had to choose again.

I've had no trouble with my Continental Barum Polaris the past 2 years. Good in the snow and pretty quiet on dry roads.

I crank the stereo pretty good a lot of the time and the cold isn't really good for speakers. And I got 4 free 12"s so I thought I'd blow them up. But they are both in sealed boxes and one of the boxes is loose and rattles and its just not making me happy. So I may switch back.

Put the W7 back in, the cold won't hurt it!...Just let it warm up, as in don't play it loud right away. I've never taken my sub out in 8 years!..Just play at a low volume to start and gradually raise the volume...this allows time for the speaker surrounds to loosen up and internals to warm up gradually. Within a couple of minutes you can basically blast it lol.

NOTE of caution; Just make sure to always turn your volume to zero before shutting your system down, that way no sudden bursts when you start it up.

I've had one incident of this happen to me on campus. Idiot couldn't reverse and scraped my bumper... Luckily it was only a bit of paint and it buffed right out. But I was still pissed.

Worst thing is the guy was maybe 22 or younger. So he's going to take it right up the pooper with no lube for insurance. And yea that's never good but at least it didn't get to the point where he facked it right? So its not terrible but its still a huge piss off for sure! I've had people back into my car, hit my door, and drive off. It sucks huge. Thus why I got dents and scratches.

Woodbridge ppl suck at partying. The music at sinister was absolutely amazing but yet no one as dancing... Everyone was talking and trying to get drinks at the open bar instead. I would have been good to dance and go ham alone but my girl friend couldn't and got bored so we left early. With no one dancing much the atmosphere sucked. Hey guys my friends family left her steelies outside all summer and they got rusted. She scraped the rust off the other three but she's worried about this one. I think it may be fine just needs to be scraped as well. What do you guys think? This was on the bottom of the pile of steelies hence her concern lol

Yeah she's using a wire brush to clean them now lol the other three she did are pretty good. The rims seem fine so I think it's just surface rust. She said her dad and brother left them outside like that and she didn't notice all summer... Obviously, but I'm only suggesting the 'one' wheel with the brunt of the damage have the tire removed, not all of them. The rest looked like they cleaned up well and should have no issues. But ofcourse tire pressures should be watched closely and regularly for a couple of weeks.
