May sound silly but did you buy the right RAM? Or does your computer support the size of RAM you are upgrading with (2gb stick vs 4gb stick)

If you mean max amount per slot/ddr3 then yes it is compatible.




funny thing is that I ran a bunch of bios updates... then shut it down and inserted the ram and it EFFING WORKED..... then i noticed that windows said only 2.99 gb was usable despite being on 64 bit... so I go to msconfig and change the max memory value and do a restart.... after restart i get the same problem.... it just sits there at the Post screen ( after detecting the keyboard) but doesntreact to any keyboard commands and it just sits there...

that was a google image but the spacer i borrowed is the exact same as that one, my wheels are the stupid kind that are dual bolt pattern so thers no grooves in the back of the wheel for the stock studs to hide inside like stock wheels do(if that makes any sense lol)

Agh...too long/complicated to explain :( lol but its just stupidity with my land lord. They basically have no idea how to run a business (like everyone else in this damn State) and are taking me to court for something they themselves screwed up on. What makes it worse is that they're unbelievably hard to deal with.

It just sucks cause I can either pay the legal fees and all that I'm being charged for right now, and have the whole ordeal of court and all avoided. Or I can fight it, and to through the long/stressful/expensive process of proving them wrong in court. Its just frustrating because I shouldn't be held responsible for any of the charges to begin with. We'll see how it plays out I guess...

As it stands now it'll be somewhere around $150-300. (Wide range because it depends on them agreeing to waive a few of the fees but since I don't have that in writing yet I don't trust them. Theyve gone back on their word way too many times already). Its basically the legal fees from filing the court case. Its not an enormous amount or anything, but like....it just boils down to the fact that I'm not responsible to pay it. It wasn't anything wrong on my end so why should I.

I talked with a coworker about this. Apparently in this area, it's very common for rental management's to do this kind of shit, taking advantage of tenants and all. Most people don't have the time/money to fight it, so they just end up paying to be done with it. Its disgusting how some of these people operate..

As it stands now it'll be somewhere around $150-300. (Wide range because it depends on them agreeing to waive a few of the fees but since I don't have that in writing yet I don't trust them. Theyve gone back on their word way too many times already). Its basically the legal fees from filing the court case. Its not an enormous amount or anything, but like....it just boils down to the fact that I'm not responsible to pay it. It wasn't anything wrong on my end so why should I.

I talked with a coworker about this. Apparently in this area, it's very common for rental management's to do this kind of shit, taking advantage of tenants and all. Most people don't have the time/money to fight it, so they just end up paying to be done with it. Its disgusting how some of these people operate..

Just pay it....it sucks but fighting in court will cost you alot more
