10:12 PM Driving north on mt. Pleasant out of downtown tonight and an Audi Q1 or something tried racing a challenger. The Audi SUV had passengers drinking Budweiser holding cans out of the windows. I was behind 1 or two cars watching.

The light turns green, both cars take off. Idiots.

A parked corolla then crosses 2 lanes of traffic ahead to turn left ontoba side street. The challenger is cut off, panicks and drives left of centre. He turned left and took off down manor road or something. The Q1 took off ahead.

Street racing is stupid and very dangerous and if there was more traffic going SB, there could have been a head on collision at speed as the challenger went left of centre going 80 kph+

It's on my dashcam and I'll post later in that thread when I go home. Scary s***. Don't street race plz.

And it makes me realize how disappointing groups get over the years. Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer etc. Even Korn although I did like the dubstep cd. It was awesome to see rock and electronic music collaborate. But look at how music is now compared to 90s to early 2000s (my generation of music and probably about 80% of the people here's generation). Eminem is another one. Compare the first Marshal Mathers LP to the second. There is no comparison. New one isn't bad but it's not what the first one was.

I figure a good discussion could end the Friday thread on a good note. And I'm bored and don't feel like hurting my liver today lol.

It's going alright thus far. A few more things to take but I got a lot moved yesterday. Got a lot in my garage too. But the garage is pretty big for a one car. Gonna have to set this bitch up right :D.

Whenever I watch my siblings and take them out of the house, I refuse to drive my parents SUV/Van. Like for long trips, and being a passenger, or lugging the whole family around, that thing is great. But it's so awkward going from the stuff suspension of a three to basically "bouncing" and being able to drive over any pot hole/bump. I choose to strap their car seats into the three, and shake their heads up a bit with the bass. I've totally convinced them I drive a "race car" (yes I'm a great sister, I know)

The second albums usually have a few tracks that didn't quite make the cut for first one. Each album after that was written and recorded over one, maybe two years. Take any more time than that and you risk becoming irrelevant.

Plus when you become rich and famous, what life experiences are left to write about? Money? Hoes? Cars? All subjects that make for awful music.

You make a very good point. Although personally Eminem's second album (or well mainstream as there was infinite) was my favourite. But it's kinda disappointing when artists or groups you grew up with change. And I get that now it's all they are rich and the labels want more "pop sounding" (my favourite comparison for this is Linkin Park comparing say hybrid theory or Meteora to 1000 suns) and then trying to listen to the newer music and it's just you don't want to. I grew up in the 90s and my favourite era of rap is late 90s early 2000s but they were still rapping about money hoes and all that shit. Now it's less lyrics and more of saying the same god damn thing over and over again.
