How's everyone's weekend going thus far?
Long weekend.... for Canadian workers only.

Looks like we got pretty decent weather this long weekend. A bit of a mix, but seems like its been great so far!

Hopefully can do a nice little detail this week at some point and do another good interior and exterior clean as my car has seen quite a bit of traffic the past month or so (inside and out). Plus got way to many bug splatters from the doubleclutch cruise that need to go.
Its always funny when my little mazda gets chosen to be the car to shove 5 people in and drive somewhere with when other people have better sized cars for that sort of thing (im just assuming everyone likes my driving and thinks my car is cool :cool )

Went to Sibbald provincial Park today. More specifically the beach. Then cruising on the way back home, on the 404, I saw a brutal one car accident. Driver Smacked right into the guard rail and crushed the whole front end.

My goodness. Driving back to Michigan last night was horrendous. Two straight hours of hydroplaning, not being able to see more than two feet in front of me, and being afraid that the hail was gonna crack my windshield and dent the car lol man oh man was rough. Half the cars on the highway were pulled over on the shoulder but my little rolling bucket huffed and puffed through it like a champ....for the most part anyway.

Always a good time at the border too. This time the guy there stared down the car and then asked me if I was in a gang.

Rough start to the work week this morning as well, but a start nonetheless.

I still cant believe I caught up to you on the way back despite me getting lost for a bit and not exceeding the speed limit on southwood road.

Well... My car was not having it anymore. My dash cam was going off every 30 seconds, I was hearing things scrape and bump... And I figured I drove a portion quickly/fast and enjoyed that... And decided to take the rest slow and just actually enjoy it rather than worry about all the things that I was hitting.
Shout out to silverstarmazda for sticking behind me the whole time! :P
Plus it was quite sandy on some of the turns... I lost traction on one turn... Then decided... I was good, had enough fun... Time to take it 'slow'. Plus it's quite a long stretch in my opinion to whip through the whole time. Felt like an hour driving down that!
Was cool to experience non the less.

Lol it's different on an everyday drive... The pot holes and bumps on this road sucked at some points. There was one little stretch that was freshly paved though.

You can't always tell how rough a train track is going to be. You slow down because for those with lowered cars (aka not you) and a stiffer suspension setup (which those lowered 99% of the time have) it's a bit rough going over. I'm not low enough to have to take every train track sideways... It's not pretending... It's called respecting the four wheels you drive. Please lower your car and then try to make comments like that. You just don't understand.

on the way back when we were driving next to each other it looked like your shock was kinda blown-ish on the left rear side. its either the shock or the mount. hard to say without taking the wheel off or actually being in the car. i suggest a lift kit from a jeep or something

on the way back when we were driving next to each other it looked like your shock was kinda blown-ish on the left rear side. its either the shock or the mount. hard to say without taking the wheel off or actually being in the car. i suggest a lift kit from a jeep or something

You laugh. But if this whole thing from my old job happens I might be doing it lol. Especially if I have a garage to keep the car in. I just still don't have the heart to get rid of it. It needs work too, and I won't get too much from it. So if it lasts a bit longer then I can build it during the winter. I just don't want some kid driving my car around town lol.
