Yea I always hear that about Wind. I'm all about cheapness, but if my phone is gonna be unable to do its primary function that often, then that's a no-go for me. I think it suits people that tend to live in the zones where reception is good and they don't travel around much.

I like Fido. They have been good to me and I rarely lose reception. And never had any complaints with them. Hell they gave me Spotify free for a year.

It cleans out the crank case, fuel lines and the exhaust. And never doing it since I've owned the car it was a good idea. Car is running better now too. I am glad I put full synthetic in her too. Makes a big difference.

Had a bad experience with Lenovo. Bit of a backstory.....been casually looking for a new laptop for like a year now. Mine is just god awful to use these days. Ordered the Z51 laptop from Lenovo during their Back-To-School sale a few months ago. Turned out to be a horrible mistake (bad screen resolution, horrible battery life, and the big killer for me....build quality. Keyboard would flex like crazy when typing). So returned that and was hoping to snag something up for Boxing Day.

Currently have a very outdated Dell Inspiron. Looking at the Latitude 15 5000 right now...although no crazy Boxing Day sale, seems like a "safe" bet, as I do like the hardware/build quality of my Inspiron, and Latitude's are supposed to be slightly better than that. Performance seems lacking compared to other laptops in that price range, but as I learned from the Lenovo Z51, there's sometimes a huge difference between a written spec sheet and real life.

Willing to look at Asus and HP as well. I'm a little picky about keyboard format/layout/feel, and so something similar to the Dell line would be ideal.

Weight isn't that important to me at all, as I'd primarily be using it sitting on a desk. My current laptop hasn't had a working battery for 2 years, so that's how I've used it 100% of the time since then :P so I'm used to that.

Rough budget....ideally <$1000 out the door after all is said and done.

You're not the first to tell me both those points. As for the HP...I hear they over-heat? As for the Thinkpad....yea one of my close friends in university had one, and it was a tank. Durable as hell, and performed well too. It's treated him well. I'm not a huge fan of the design, but mostly just the Lenovo brand is putting me off right now. Guess I should at least look into their offers right now on the Thinkpad's. Another thing when I was looking into them a few months ago was the price. Definitely a bit pricey.

That's pretty much the only store I've found that's worth a look so far. So yea, looking into it currently. Got stuck with a drunk driver behind me on the way home. Unfortunately wasn't able to get his license plate or anything. Scary stuff my friends. Don't drink and drive!
And unfortunately he turned and without a plate number taken down or anything other than the type of car, there isn't much to do (I know from past experience as we had some guy driving in the on coming traffic lane and we called 911 and they said without a license plate there wasn't a ton they could do, and not knowing where he is going makes it hard to find them)
Anyways... Moral of the story, be safe while driving! And enjoy your Christmas!
