Beware fallling ice now that it's all melting. A big chunk came off my building this morning and landed on the roof of a car setting off the car alarm. Hardhat weather.

god this week was a shitshow for me. Pulled like 4 all nighters to get some of my stuff ready for 3d printing. Went to get a quote and realized I didnt remove enough excess material and was quoted at $4500 (ouch). Managed to remove some of the material from the cad model. hopefully i will get a lower quote sometime next week and get the parts done by friday evening.

also it didnt help that my car was frozen in the campus parking lot after an allnighter on wednesday night to thursday morning. there was like 3/4" of ice on the windshield. theres still a bit of ice on my mirrors ( I tried removing the bigger chunks but some chunks werent coming off unless i hit my car with the icescraper which kinda seems like a bad idea for paint)

But seriously I usually dont do detailing for other people. Ive only been paid for it once when I went to help a friend of mine detail his relative's cayenne. Besides that I only detail for people I know well and usually for free under the " Im not a pro and you cant sue me if I screw up" clause. Ofcourse Ive never actually screwed up but Im very careful and dont step outside my comfort zone ( ie I dont deal with full on paint correction but can do minor surface scratch removal as long as the paint hasnt already been buffed enough). They still try to offer me money/food for my troubles :/

USA Netflix is still obtainable and when it detects the proxy you just swap the DNS again. And you can always go back to the Canadian one in a matter of minutes. It hasn't been that bad. It has only come up twice for me and sometimes I go back later and it just works the same.

Using Unblockus. You can sign up month to month to see how it goes. Its like $5 a month if I recall.

I got Shomi added to when I switched to Rogers ignite. It's not bad considering I am not paying extra for it. I guess each one has its limitations.

I usually always prank my mom for sure, last year I wasn't going to see her so I did a classic over text message for females, the pregnancy prank. It got her very well.

When I was a kid I always did actual pranks and so in light of being home I figured I would do another, but life has been hectic and I forgot it was April fools until this morning. I knew I had some fake blood in my room from my FX Makeup stash, and figured I'd do the classic "OMG I CUT MY FINGER". So I went into the kitchen, and she was sitting at the table preoccupied, and I took out a few things to cut (if she paid attention she would have seen them being random things) and then made a few chopping sounds cutting things up. I was worried because I knew I had to make a believable scream with no practise. Dripped some blood on my hand and the knife and well.... Screamed. It was believable. Tooooo believable. Until I started laughing and she realized it was a joke. She was so scared and angry because I legit scared her. Found out the scary movie she got stuck watching alone last night, the girl cuts her finger and becomes possessed that way, and she had been on edge all night and morning because of the movie so my little prank jolted that scare to another level. But we have been laughing about it all night now... So I guess in a way it worked out, but not in the moment.

As far as I know it's a module that hooks up in the tape/MD plug in mind you I've never installed one nor had to. Mine came with auxiliary and all the 04-06s I did audio work for got aftermarket decks. I think FD22 had one in his car and it was wired to the stock deck if I remember correctly. I dunno that was a day of zero to 100 real quick lol.
