LOL...they get him out of the house by giving the family a trip somewhere (forget where) and then when they come back they've been locked out by the carnies saying it's their house now. So Homer bets them the deed to the house that if he can throw a hulahoop onto the chimny, they get their house back...if he misses, the carnies can keep it. So he does all this prep work (seeing the wind, streching) then he goes "1....2...NOW" and they all run back in the house to take it back. The last words by the carnies is "Well, at least we were beaten by the best..." to which the son was like "But Dad, he didn't seem like..." and the dad replied "WE WERE BEATEN BY THE BEST!"

Pretty decent episode IMO

115 in an 80, but he reduced it to 100 in an 80. I can't fight it myself because I got it out in Elliot Lake and from what my insurance told me, the rate increase is about $90 - $120/year which would make it about the same as hiring a paralegal. Probably just pay it and avoid getting another.

My boyfriend lives in a place exactly like that. Where his backyard fence ends a golf course begins. He's like on the 15th or 16th green. No broken windows yet, but lots of golf balls into the backyard!

Sounds like my buddy who's working with a pre-built, incomplete database. They'll tell him exactly how they want things, even if the DB doesn't allow for it. And since there is already an existing program using that DB, no changes can be made.

Me on the otherhand; I'm just told by my boss "We need a screen that does this" and he's very lenient about what it looks like/how it works.

I wish this were so for me. My boss is pretty picky. To me, if it works, done...if not, ok, keep working. But my boss wants it to work AND look nice.

Like, right now, I had to code something.

Here's how it USED to work.

Parts screen - Used to create a parts order for service. When ready, push the ready button and it sets a date/user field in our database to pull off of to let people know when it was flagged as ready and by whom.

Schedule Screen - Used semi-same way as the button on parts screen but for difference places in the order's span in our warehouse. Current part I need was 'Credit Approval'

What I needed to do:

Parts screen - Push ready button. Check to see if credit has been approved. If not, flag a new column saying credit wait, inform user via message box, email people and then refresh grid to show yellow line saying it's TECHNICALLY ready just waiting.

Schedule screen - same thing but now, when pushed credit approval button, it checks for any credit waiting, clears those dates and sets the ready date.

Took me 2 hours to do this all cause my boss wasn't specific on what he wanted and I had to create the new columns and stored procedures.

It took me a few months to get free concert tickets any time I wanted them, any amount of credit up to $100 I think to eat at any of the restaurants, and it took a year maybe to get free hotel stays and valet parking. They do it so you'll keep coming back, it's all part of their little scheme.

haha just a tad.. cuz I definitely did not spend 50k hahahha...

I'm a light player so I'm partial to the nickle machines :chuckle But the black jack tables are fun sometimes too...


And Orillia is a little dull. Not too much to do, although they have one of the nicest waterfronts I've seen, so if you're into boating they have a huge marina you can check out and a couple of patios nearby. The casino is definitely entertainment enough, there's usually live bands playing in the sports bar there on weekends, sometimes they're pretty good.

Ahh I'm not sure which one it was.... my parents recommended it but they said they did the 1 hour cruise? I dunno.. Actually when you go into town (Gananoque.. which is totally adorable, bring a bathing suit!!!) there's a ticket booth and I think they have a list of cruise options. There's one that takes you by this historic castle, the 'rents said it was pretty cool to see. There's also a 5 hour one... I think they serve dinner!
