Yep went with the V12s. Stuck with the stock 17" size so I'll see how they perform. I like the look of them already and they seemed to be pretty quiet on the road. Now to see how they are on the highway when I go home.

Heck yeah, I always have driven a manual my entire life, got the speed and I felt like a noob still.

I've driven a manual all my life too and though I've never taken a speed for a spin, I've been told its totally different in regards to the clutch.

I test drove a 2010 speed3.. :) And boy, you will definitely notice the difference even if you've driven a manual before.. Must be really careful with the release or else, you'll spin the wheels all over the place and jerk the car.. :D

As I was getting off the dealer lot, I didn't expect that there will be significant difference so I spun the wheels and jerked a few times.. Did that a couple more times while turning on corners as well.. I found out that at higher rpm, it's easier to shift, but at low rpms (around 2500 I think), you have to carefully time the release..

But in all that is fair, it's worth the embarrassment and wheel spins. :) :) :) :thumbsup

I've driven the first gen speed3, and the 2010 speed3 and found their clutches quite different. Seems the 1st gen is a bit more forgiving...

My employer knows that I work two jobs and hes expressed his concern to me before. I'm basically fed up of having to work two jobs because I don't make enough money during the day. Now, we've spoken a couple of times and hes willing to put something in the works so that I no longer have to (basically add my night job salary to my current salary). My question is, should I have waited until he brought up the situation or did I just screw myself over by looking for a pay increase by bringing this subject up to him?

All I know is that I'm fed up working so damn much. Being 22, being "fed up" shouldn't even apply to me. I should also note that what I make now, is what I should have been making two years ago so the pay increase would be significantly greater.

Are they going to expect more from you performance wise since you will be making more? The stress you may loose buy going down to 1 job, may come back with more work from your day job...you may end up working OT or who knows..I would ask them about it..

I have no problem putting in more time at the office but an increase in my performance is not expected, its something I would naturally do to show my worth to the company.
