Modding it more than the Speed 3 too!! Working on handling this year (sways, endlinks, bushings, etc). Engine maybe next year (if the boss allows me) - exhaust and tune...

Dear lord what a disaster trying to drive to Brighton today,

Left with enough gas to make it to Port Hope, got past Newcastle exit and then to a sudden stop, damn 401 was closed,ended up almost running out of gas, got off a Newtonville and had to backtrack into Newcastle to get gas, thought for sure I was gonna run dry, with the friggin 100pound Golden Retriever in the back, 4hours to get down.

Oh well, enjoyin a nice cold Coors Light now :) Hope everyone has a great weekend and a great fathers day to all ye dads!

Did a quick search to try and confirm one way or another, and I didn't find anything particularly damning. They seem to be overall positively received; not amazing, but well performing for their price point are more or less on par with the OEM.

I've had these rotors on for about 2 months now. Initial impressions were horrible! The rotors were on the car and were warped. Rubbing the brakes on every rotation and pulsing under actual braking conditions. This quickly changed when I seated the pads properly with some agressive stops described by the pad manufacturer. At this point they don't drag anymore and they look great. The coatings are lasting ok and they aren't noisy.

NOW, the rotors are great. They are equal to OEM. It has to be said they're just for looks. They are essentially the OEM rotors except drilled. I am not testing them under extreme conditions like at the track, but they do the trick and I'm sure they'd survive just as well if not better than the OEM rotors.

So overall, I recommend. These are a great replacement for the OEM rotors if its time to replace, but if you're looking for performance you've gotta pay the price.


One year later - will you still recomment these rotors ? How did they perform on the long run ? Do you still have them on your car ?


Still running great, no complaints. The paint has chipped off the hub and they are starting to show regular rust signs along the outside. I'm happy with them still rate them only GOOD, not great. You get what you pay for. In hindsight I would have spent a bit more and got some more expensive rotors. Stock may still be the best bet.

My honest suggestion...stock rotors and some good performance pads will be the best combination for power and long lasting brakes.

I've had the rotors for a year now, parred with Hawk pads, Experienced a significant decrease in braking power which has continued. The pads have been bedded properly, as well the rotors rusted within a week of being on the car, and honestly look like crap, the entire top hat, and the hub are almost entirely rusted, and have been since the week I put them on.

I bought these initially then Jimmy at SP didnt' really recommend them, I went back with OEM rotors and pads. Overall I really can't complain about them they work for me.

Sorry to hear about this... I use to know this group of people back in highschool (back in the Philippines) who I hang out with at that time. After I came here, I never get a chance to talk to them again.. Then last year, as I was browsing through facebook and reconnecting with other people from back home, I got news that they died in a car crash (all 3 of them in the same car).. It shocked me at the time because they were really nice and smart people (2 of them were twins) and I would never have thought that something like that will happen to them..
