TGIF - this has been the craziest week at my work ever (and from what I hear, also in the company's history). We faced our first layoffs EVER, losing 2 out of the 4 marketing content creators in my department (2 out of 8 people in the whole group). Which was a complete shock and as I'm the newest member of the group, I'm very happy it wasn't me.

Also on Monday we found out a third person in our group was convicted of credit card fraud (from other companies) last week and is now in jail for 3 years. So my colleague doing our PR is now also our events coordinator (luckily he's done that job for us before).

On the bright side my boss (also the President) gave me a huge metaphorical thumbs up yesterday, giving me a good sense of security. I needed it as I've been a bit shell-shocked this week!

So far not a great weekend to start things off. Last night as I'm driving home on the 401 by Ajax I hit something on the highway but didn't notice anything otherwise I would have merged into another lane...so I pull over and to take a look at my car. I check the rims, tires, and body...I see nothing so I go along my way. At this point I don't notice any change or sounds that are different so I continue home. This morning almost around noon my f***'in tire pops...I drive into a plaza and of course I'm not dressed for the weather I'm cold as ****! :flaming I have a throat infection, and eyes are 'flaming'. Anyways got the spare put on and fortunately John over at Exclusive Wheel & Tires in Ajax scheduled me to put on my winter tires...I get a chance to really look at my rim and tire and at this point I definitely need a replacement. So I finally arrive and they help me out which is great! Thank you guys once again!

As I'm driving home I call up VW now I gotta drive out there tomorrow (Martin Grove dealership) to file a claim for the rim and tire replacement. What a drag considering I have to drive about 50 kms out of my way just to get a claim going when I thought my local dealership could of managed that. :bang

So that's my shitty Friday how exciting :(

5-year old daughter tripped during recess and did a faceplant on the pavement. Big Goose-egg and scratches on her forehead and knees.

Just got back from the ER
5-year old daughter tripped during recess and did a faceplant on the pavement. Big Goose-egg and scratches on her forehead and knees.

So now i just got back from rogers store and i talked to them about a possible upgrade even my contract isnt over for another year..

If i want to get the iPhone 4s this is my break down cost :

Minus a $50 mail in rebate
And my contract will be renewed for 3yrs again...

Early HUPs are going to kiil you. I would wait for a few more months until the penalty isn't so much OR if you reaally want a new phone but not necessary a 4S, look on kijiji as I'm sure there BNIB, ip4's going for a decent price and you won't be locked in for another 3 yrs.

Hahaha, there is no such thing as a free iPhone upgrade, ever! You may be eligible for a different phone for free, but not the iPhone. Like mentioned before, Apple dictates the price, and no matter how much you get on your knees Dave, Rogers is not going to give you a free iPhone.

I was past my 3 year contract and I never even got a discount on the phone price, and I haggled the crap out of them. Just sayin'.
