checked it out yesterday, car is clean, doesnt look like its been hit, though the hood is slightly misaligned (could have happened when installing the stone chip screen thingy)

dude is pretty desperate to sell since he's moving to korea...

my brother in law is looking to get a car and i convinced him of a mazda3 (first said 6 but he wouldnt have it.... i'm the mod on the toronto forum of mazda6club.com)

anyways...is it a fair price if i beat him down to 15g?

LOL, I think he'd prefer to sell you a new one! But I'm sure he'll give you some off-the-cuff advice if you bring it to him...

Hey there...

Rather than reply to the PM (thanx) I will post this here.

If you can get me the VIN I can do a Warranty/Recall assessment, but I would highly recommend you purchase a 'used car' package from the MTO. It will tell you more history as well as if there is a salvage or branding on it..

As for the pricing... really depends on the condition but it sounds really good.

If you offer $15 I would imagine someone else is ready to pay $16, $2500 off a car that is already 'reasonably' priced at 17500.. can't hurt to ask but I think $16000 is where you are going to end up..

THings to consider...

Does it have any Warranty left?
When was the warranty start date?
Was it Rust Proofed? and if so is the warranty transferable?
Has any, repeat ANY of the car been painted or replaced?
How are the tires? and how is the windshield? 2 of the more expensive items to check for the safety cert.
Are they selling it Certified and E-tested or are those your responsibilty?

Just for starters.. Call me if you have any further questions.. :) (416) 642-7777
