after going around different locations to find ... Vibrant Front Strut bar, Front and Rear Rotor (Power Slotted)..

and others,.. to find that all these sponsors are from USA.

So.. you will not believe it.

go to Canadiantire.ca -> Automative Section -> Driver Fx.. Search for Mazda 3, and your year.

to give you an example..

Vibrant Strut Bar - $54.71 ($74.82 Tax'ed in With Fedex Ground Shipping)
Magnaflow Exahaust System Catback - $565.40 (not cheaper, but for sure, no broker fee)
Borla catback - $661.97
Eibach Pro Kit - $251.21
Eibach Alignment Kit: 2004-2006 Mazda Mazda 3; Anti Roll Kit PArt No- 5545320 (is the sway bars front and back) - $361.46

Ok, the catback is not that cheap. but other things are quite resonable...

Yup..

They are not the cheapest for most items... i mean look @ those exhaust.. But sometimes if we order acrosss the border, it would be close...

But they sell Apexi muffler with their Active Silencer.. which is prettty cool.

mz3froums has it for 605us + 25us(shipping), so thats $700can taxes in...
can u get me a better deal than that?

Funny you should mention that, but I will be posting a Vibrant exhaust group buy up this weekend...... Keep in mind that price you quoted from the US would not be $700 CAN taxes in, since the Vibrant exhaust is made in Taiwan so therefore is not under NAFTA and would have Duties in addition to taxes on that, plus brokerage fees (usually $20 - $25), so you're looking at close to $800CAN all in. Our prices will be very competitive.... stay tuned :) PM me for details if you're in a rush.

Just got off the phone with a customs broker and found out the following based on your numbers:

Exchange rate (per bank of Canada) is 1.1287
Duty for Non-North American manufactured exhause is 6% (Harmonized Customs code is 8708-929020)


Item $605us = $682.86Cad
Duties and taxes on $682.86 is 20% = $136.57Cad
Shipping $25us = 28.22Cad

Final price in Canadian dollars is $847.65

Unfortunately people ofter get surprised at the final cost of items bought from the US.
