Not sure if this is the right place for this, but anyways...Has anyone purchased or tried the brake dust covers on the rear for this car? and If so how good did they work? They sell them at Crappy for $33 pr and I'm getting annoyed with the brake dust build-up!

Are you talking about those round covers that look like plates that cover up the rotors? Those things are pretty ghetto.

Give this stuff a try first. It's 11.99 at Crappy Tire:

Yeah thems the things! I figured they wouldn't look so hot, but if they worked!! Funny I never seen that chit at Crappy Tire before!...I'll give it a shot.

I bought that in a package, with Tire/Wheel Cleaner as well as Tire Shine, all work quite well, I did notice that the brake dust kept off for quite a while, compared to before.

Went to my neighborhood crappy tire yesterday, guy tells me Michelin is discontinuing this product and there's only so many cans of stock left in various stores! ...( unknown if it will still be sold in the package) the search continues...

Do you really really want it? I thought I saw it (a month ago) in the Burlington Canadian Tire on Fairview. If you do... Let me know I can go check their stock first before you make the trip to save you from wasting your time.

if you want to decrease the brake dust, then why dont u just get ceramic brake pads?

If you want to severly decrease your brake dust and bank account I'd go with the ceramic brake pads.

Well I managed to pick-up a couple of cans of the Michelin stuff, put it on several days ago....we'll see how that works out.
As for the pads, I only have 24k on my vehicle and store it during the winter so I ain't going to waste money on new pads till I need them.Then I'll probably get the Greenstuff pads.Ceramics I heard cause alot of noise.

then whenever u break, also engine break to cover up any sounds from the pads ;)
