I'm looking at getting the Eibach Pro-line springs but, everywhere I look the drop measurement is stated differently i.e; F1.4 R1.4 or F1.4 R1.2 etc; Does anyone know what the actual drop will be?( I realize the springs may settle slightly different on different vehicles.)
So has anyone done an actual before and after measurement with these springs? and if so what did you get? At the moment with stock springs I'm sitting at 2-1/2 inchs front and 2-1/8 inchs rear, I'd like to drop it so the vehicle sits perfectly level at approx 1.0 inch clearance.
Thanks for any input,

Eibach's page claims 1.2 front and rear for the pro kit, but you're right, cars will settle differently.

I didn't measure before and after... But I can send you a picture if you like. When you say 2 1/2' do you mean gap between tire and car? If so... I could measure but I am running 215/45/17 tires and that would change the gap over stock 205/50/17 tires with the same kit installed.

you can use the tire size calculator to find out what the difference may be between different tires too...so if blckman can measure his current gap, you can just find the diff in sidewall height between your tires and his and add to the measurement
Even all around...
I even included the gap between front lip and ground because I rub everywhere I pull in... incase you ever need to know that info too...
Hope this helps you guys.

I measured from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender using a level. I erred in my post in saying I 'd like a 1 inch gap, I was thinking 1.1 inchs. Are you using the Eibachs?

I measured the same way... but I didn't use a level... just eyeballed what I thought was straight up and down. I am using the Eibach Prokit.

Hey thanks Blackman, for all the info! Nice pic of the car by the way! Seriously your rubbing the lip all the time?.....
According to the tire calculator your tires are .5 in smaller in dia which should mean a .25 in less gap than stock tires.
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that in stock form their sitting lower in the rear? As mine sits approx 0.3 inchs lower!

It's all about angles, man! You should never drive head-on 90 degrees to a driveway with that setup. Better to hit it at like 45 degrees. ;)
BTW, I like the drop.

I believe in Blackmans case its a 1.4" drop because of his tire size.

Thanks for the good words everyone.
