15 days to return to the city or return to court eh?

What did you do to attract the person to place the tag on your car?

Return to the city? Ticket says it was written at 12:57am... wtf??? lol The person must've been drawn to the pretty stickers on my windshield.

I'd think all the honking drivers and people cutting me off were welcome enough.

I wonder what that does to my record since I'm not a resident yet...

If you don't have Ontario plates, don't pay it.

But you didn't hear that from me... ;)

Conversely, I still have an outstanding parking ticket from New York.

Well, I will eventually register my car and will be driving around here for quite some time... and the thought of having a warrant out for me doesn't sit well on my conscience. :D

They would never know... and plus... the cops that would be registering your car would be out back drinking on duty in mississauga on camera... you'll be fine! jk...

You can get a ticket for that? LOL I thought as long as the car is not obstructing traffic, and not interfering with emergency access it shouldn't matter...

Yes. I've gotten one before - those bastards. Parking on wrong side of road way. It was a side street off a side street off Hwy 7, in Markham. Can't remember how much; either $20 or $30.

Not even in front of a fire hydrant. A fire designated route.

Ok I got one as well, I'm sure you guys will get a good laugh at this one, for parking at the end of my farking driveway!

Not blocking the sidewalk, not blocking a fire hydrant not blocking a neighbour's dirveway, nothing!

I was parked perpendicular to MY driveway, if anything I was blocking myself!

This morning as I get in my car on my way to work I see a $27 dollar ticket for parking to close to a driveway! How retarded is that?

Should I fight this or pay the $27?

I'd have to take a day off to go to court to fight this! Anyone have experieces with those traffic court services? XCopper or whatever its called?

TIA

lol.. the city's gotta get their money in somehow right? ::) ::)

but lol.. yah that's hillarious! i fought a parking ticket once only b/c i did NOT deserve it (concierge told me i could park in a spot i was describing but i still got a ticket) anyway.. you'll probably have to take 3 hrs off work to go to court and all.. not worth it for a parking ticket..
