which states can call home (to ontario) and notify them of your ticket causing your rates to rise? where are we 'safe to speed' on the interstates, aside from the risk of getting arrested on the spot and/or paying $300USD for a ticket?

too tired to google now and i'm off to hockey :P

If it was in one of those states, then it will appear on your motor vehicle record - although it will probably say *speeding - out of province*. What was the ticket for?

It's still going to be on your MVR, so it will affect your insurance. Bottom line - don't get any tickets. ;)

can't you hire somebody (one of thopse traffic lawyers) to ride-off the ticket? If it has a big impact on your insurance, then it is worth it to do such a thing.

That isn't feasable at all. Let's say you get a ticket in Ohio and you want to fight it in court. You'll have to hire someone in Ohio to represent you in court there, or you will have to go there yourself.

Stay off the OHIO Turnpike. It's a toll road that clocks you in and out. The attendant at the exit has the authority to give you a ticket if they determine you've been speeding according to the time it took you to complete the distance covered. (velocity=distance/time).

So go 150km/h for the whole trip, and pull over beside the toll booth to have a sandwich... then go through.
