I know some of these questions might have been covered before, sorry if I'm re-asking them.
How do you adjust the height of the HID? it seems like both my lights are pointing a little lower then they should.
Also, I have 6500k bulbs but they don't seem that Bright on the road. Did i get jipped.
I have pictures, but I don't know how to post them.
thanks,

There's an adjustment screw/bolt on the back of the headlight housing. Turning it will either raise or lower the headlight beam.
The higher the colour temperature of the bulb the less light it actually outputs.

But I got 6500k, the light output should be really good.
How do you get a screwdriver in there, ther's so little room.

5000k is probably the best temp for 'usable' light output IMO or at least around that range.* As you go higher the output becomes weaker and @6500k, it's pretty much all blue/purplish? but the trade off is usually less usable light. Perhaps less then the stock halogen bulbs.

Thanks for the link, 6500k is less then STOCK HALOGEN bulbs? You got to be kidding me. I was originally going to get 8000, lol.

For actual usable light it could be the case, then again it depends on the bulbs and ballasts as well. I'm not 100% sure but I do know the higher the temp, the weaker the output... as long as your happy with what you got, it's all good.

Light output also depends on wattage that the bulb is outputting. 50w 6500k looks great and really lights up the road. (friend's 3).
Oh, and just FYI, those numbers (5000k, 6500k, etc.) indicates the color temperature, not how much usable light it outputs.
8000k would be purple, but you won't see as far.
Also, I have 6500k bulbs but they don't seem that Bright on the road. Did i get jipped.
I have 6000k bulbs and mine seem really bright. Not as bright as 4300k or 5000k... but still much brighter than my stock bulbs. Do you feel yours are not much of an improvement over stock? If so... Something must be wrong... Lets see some pics...
I have pictures, but I don't know how to post them.
Try going to www.photobucket.com and uploading your pics. When you upload you want to copy and paste the yellow line as shown in my pic below into your message and it will display your picture for all to see.

Alright, I'll post them on photobucket later on tonight when I got time.
I thought 8000k was suppose to be a nice blue.
And btw, I can't change to 50W bulbs now that I have 35W rite? I would have to get new ballast and controller? (basically a new kit)

use a #10 socket to turn the screw.

Use that to adjust the level of the light?

What do you guys think?
It is very blue. But I can totally tell you have hid's from your pictures. Looks good. Mine aren't as blue as yours. You have a nicer cut-off line than I do. You must have a newer mazda 3 with the upgraded projectors.

Your bulbs might not be seated correctly either that will reduce your light output.
Also the quality of kit you get directly impacts the light output, for example the $200ebay kits will not have the same light output as the high quality kits because they do not run as efficiently. IE more power is lost to heat then turned into usable light.

I'm running KDG Ballast with Japan made HID bulbs.
Anyone ever heard of KDG, it's from Korea.

You don't need to adjust those, thats why they are covered with the plastic caps from factory, to aim your HIDs you just need to use the one without the plastic cap, that other two with plastic caps are set up from factory to the right position.

I think you would be looking at 12000K. But honestly, you won't be able to see shiet on the road.

Like Red said, you won't see anything.
Light output gets gradually worse as you go up in the kelvin scale.
Besides, purple is a sure way to get hassled by the police.

How do you like the eurolite kit? I have the 6000k eurolite kit and I love it... No issues at all!

After having my Hid's for some time now, I seem to be facing a few problems.
When I turn on my car, the driver side bulb occasionally does not come on rite away. (I use the AUTO light feature)
Another problem is when both lights are really close to a wall, it seems alligned. (picture above post) But when it shoot out far, it seems like they aren't alligned, and the driver side bulb doens't seem to shoot as far.
Is this an aiming problem with the driver bulb or is this a bulb problem?

The starting cycle on the car will always cause the HIDs to flicker when the lights switch is set to auto, to prevent future problems just turn the auto option off before you start the car.

If it looks aligned from close but not from far I would say it is an aim problem, when the bulbs are not working good they'll look bad from anywhere, close or far. Just try swapping the bulbs from one side to the other and see what happens.

Good Idea, man i can't beleive i neva thought of that. I'll definelty try that, but when I go up close to a car's bumper, it's really obvious that the driver bulb is dimmer.
But i'll defiinelty take your advice and swap the bulbs and see what happens.
Thanks,

I swapped the bulbs, I'm still having one of the bulbs shoot out farther then the other. Is it a levelling problem now?

Is it the same side that is shooting out farther or is it the same bulb that is shooting out farther?
sp3GT

Same side thats shooting out further.
I think I'm having a slight aiming problem maybee? Because I started to realize that the clip on the driver side is looser then the clip on the passenger side. Could that be my problem?
THe 2 bolts that control the aiming are rite around there rite? If it is, I don't know what I can use to reach it, i've tried the ratchet I have it doens't fit (not enough room).
It's a very slight problem but when it shoots out it's soo obvious to me.
Thanks,

Again;
You don't need to adjust those, thats why they are covered with the plastic caps from factory, to aim your HIDs you just need to use the one without the plastic cap which is located below from where you put your HID bulb in the housing, that other two with plastic caps are set up from factory to the right position.
look for the 3rd bolt, thats the one for aiming and it doesn't have a plastic cap.

I adjusted the height of my driver side bulb by removing the plastic caps, I did that before reading CoolColumbian's post.
But now it seems like my driver side light is on a slant. And I can't locate the bolt that CoolColumbian said will work.
If my driver side bulb is on a slant, does that mean i should adjust the right/left of the HID.
thanks,
Xenon
