Hi all I know that alot of people here like Tiesto and I was just on his web site this morning and he is playing a show at the Docks Night club on Dec 9th...actualy info about the night has not been relaesed yet (time, price etc) but tickets go on sale at 12 and thats when details are suppose to be released. www.ticketbreak.com is where you can get your tickets. I'm planning to get mine just thought I would share the word* ;D

How early you guys going to go? When he was here in May I got in with a group of friends at like 10:30pm. We were maybe 5 rows of ppl from the front. It was sweeeeeeet.

Well I'm trying to see if I can get a friend to go with me, I'm assuming this is going to be one of his conerts where hour dj plays 9-12 tiesto goes 12-6 house dj plays 6-8...thats how it was last time I was at his concert on canada day... I think i'm going to aim to get in right when the doors open becasue I want to be at the front gate barricade when tiesto comes out so i don't have to spend 3 hours pushing my way through like i had to at that concert. lol...standing right in front of him less than 6ft away from 2:30-6 was ****ing amazing....not to mention having traffic and adagio for strings spun right in front of you....

Maybe meet somewhere before concert and drive down....I think I'm gonna be sleeping in my car in the parking lot before i head home in the morning :P

Anyone know of a good program that can convert a movie ie video clip and change it into just plain audio format...I got a couple good tiesto clips of him in concerts and such(live under the bridge, aria night club, dance valley etc) and I'd like to put them on a cd so I can listen to them in my car :)....thanks in advance:)

As for video to audio-only. Can't really help you there. If ever, I only set up my audio on the PC to record WAV only. Turn off sound effects from MSN/Windows/etc. and then use your favourite audio recorder (ie. CoolEdit) and record while the video is playing.

no the one i went to...tiesto at the docks for canada day eve into canada day 2005...they said no camera's or recording devices right on the ticket....I'm not sure about this one though...I pray so cause I'll make sure to have both my memory cards and fully charged batteries incase i can get in with it :)

Can't remember the name for sure but that MC Flex dude is farking annoying.

Trance music is an acquired taste. Most ppl take a listen and turn it off. It takes a bit of time and various tracks to get you to like it, if at all.

well the term 9pm-12am makes me think his set is 4 hours long....the concert were going to on the 9th!!!:d will go from 9pm till about 8 am sun morning....if it goes like that one on canada day did the house dj plays from 9-approx 12 tiesto plays 12 ish till about 6-6:30 and then house dj plays for maybe another 2 ish hours.

However I just looked on tiesto's website and it says he's playing in Boston on dec 31st from 11pm-2am and then in montreal from 5am till 9 am
so not sure what really but for $78 and getting to seee other artists as well might be worth a trip...but yeah gotta watch out for them 14 yr olds who will go crazy i'm sure


"NOTE" If you are wearing glasses to the tiesto concert on dec 9th...make sure they a) fit tight and if not then b) either don't wear them or have one of those lanyard things that go around your neck that you would wear to the beach....when i was there on canada day some dumb blonde who was so drunk decided to be cough smart cough and waive her arms around over the railing and back over her head. and low and behold she didn't knock my glasses right off my head and right near the curtain for the stage on the floor....and wouldn't you know the dumb bitch didn't even have enough sence to realize what she had done...and of course the guys carting the water back and forth wouldn't stop to help...so I pretty much watched them get steped on once and then kicked under the stage....I had to get new glasses as security couldn't find them in the morning.....boy was I pissed...I still had to drive home, luckily I don't legally need them to drive.....Live and learn I guess but still...
