I know it was on the old forum but how do you take out the head unit from our cars? (I just need to get to the back of the unit)

take off the dashstip
(it has a hook in the end closes to the glove box)
so pull from closest to that end first and then work ur way to the drivers side
then there will be two screws and it is out!
careful not to drop the screws down . . .
i have dropped a few!

I thought the entire center console would have to come out, but it's just two screws and only the unit comes out!! I thought I would never be able to get a deck for the Mazda 3.....unbelieveable. MP3's Here I Come! Those are really nice step-by-step instructions :)

This is the one I used too. Took me 3 mins to get my deck out following the instructions. It is easier than you think... Good luck!
