Auto Climate Control and LCD Connections on a Mazdaspeed 3

Hey Folks.

So has anyone pulled out their factory stereo from a Mazdaspeed 3? If so, can someone finally answer the question if we will be stuck having to keep the factory stereo connected to keep our autoclimate controls on the LCD? I have not had a chance to pull mine since I bought it but I have an awsome dvd/nav setup just screaming to be installed and I don't want to do it if the lcd climat controls are going to be an issue.

hmmmm dont quote me on this but i beleive there is a bypass kit for the auto climate controls on all mazda 3s because i know that people in the states have had auto climate control since 2004 so there must be a kit but i cannot seem to find it on ebay right now
i will look in the meantime though

Found what i was looking for but it may be a little pricey. I know its meant for the double dinn monitor stuff but it is the only kit i can find with what you are looking for.

I know there is a bypass kit bit there was a post on Mazda3forums about 06's with auto climate are not reliant on the radio for auto climate and lcd function. I beleive there was a member that bought the lower priced double din kit without the bypass kit and it worked...I would just like some conformation.

Hey spyder i know the guy that sells stuff on that site i bought my grill from him i could maybe talk to him about giving a deal for 2 kits as i also need a kit :/
so maybe we can help eachother and get a nice price for 2 :) that same qustion has got me stummped for last few days since i seen the auto climate so let me know
