Is Toshiba a good brand in terms of big tvs?

Sale is 1 day only.

Saturday, December 9, 2006 and only between 8AM - 1PM.

I hear the prices are good, close friends of mine bought
a 42" LCD and a 20" LCD, oh, and a surround sound system too,
a couple years ago.

I was there two years ago, typical prices were about 30% off retail. However, the stuff they are selling is not the same models you see on retail shelves. In terms of Tv' Toshiba is good for projection, or CRT. For LCD Tv's their quality is poor in comparison to Sharp and Samsung.

Hey Ray,
Our tv in the family room, 52" DLP rear projection tv - I really can't remember
how much we paid. BUT I remember at the time, that we saved atleast $500.
If you can find something refurbished - the deals are pretty good, but those
don't tend to last too long.
You'll find NEW and Refurbished: flat panel, DLP rear projection, CRT tvs, dual
deck and DVD.

**** and I are probably going - we need a new tv stand for our tv (approx. $25 -
if I can remember correctly), plus we're looking for (but can't guarantee that
it'll be there) a dvd recorder.

Toshiba is known to make good DLP TVs.

which is why toshiba has bought westinghouse...westinghouse's 1080p lcd monitors/tvs are some of the best out there.
