There's a moral lesson to this article.

"Among those who watched it were Winnipeg police officers, who recognized their city's streets and launched an investigation. Two teenagers, 18 and 19, were recently arrested and face several charges."

Now THAT is pwnage! I wonder the same things for those of you with the elaborate listing of mods in your sigs. If not thieves, then Mazda of Canada employees who want to void warranties. ;)

But we all know this is a fantasy board where we only talk about what we wish we could do to our cars :) Nothing to worry about,

it's called prevention you moron..

seriously.. sometimes i just don't get your thinking, and your analogies for that matter.. that cheesecake thing just *wheeeeeww* anyway..

if a guy taped himself killing/raping/whatever someone, would you tell the cops "just hang on and sit tight and wait till he does it again"?? little that you know the next victim is a family member of yours.. i bet you'd be pissed then eh?

Well coming from a guy says North American born Chinese people are being overly sensitive about Rosie's racial slurs, I wouldn't expect much. It obvious he doesn't put himself in anyone's shoes when he comments on things. Just like how he took the side the thugs who tried to steal that dude's integra (the fake story thread). It looks like he needs some "sensitivity training".

if u guys cant grasp my analogies, well that unfortunate, it wasn't a hard one!

if they were searching you tube for evidence on a case, fine!

if they were using it for fun to watch things that are against the law because they enjoy watching it they are *******s, they condem at work the things they condone at home.

but those kids got what they deserved!
just the cops are *******s as well!

YES!

I dont put myself in peoples shoes when i comment on things that is correct! Because when you do that you get a BIASED perception of the event! I look at the event for what it is, and i comment upon it, in what my social philosophies dictate to be correct, or more correct.

I'm not surprised but a little disappointed...another example of an admin/mod taking advantage of their powers. This is a civil chat and I had a response for your Broli, but your actions of locking this thread already speaks for itself so I will save my response for another day.

Broli

lol

it was a joke
take it ease

i was gonna unlock it earlier
but . . .

a client came by unexpectedly, and i had to run out of the office and see the patient.

quite frankly
i am glad this happened, i have gotten a true representation of what you guys truly think of me then!

thanks

Good way to cover your arse Broli. Pretty weak on the "joke excuse" man...

What part of locking a thread is a "joke"? Especially when you didn't put any indication of it in your post.

I know your response to my post will be "You can't take a joke, Rob!". Don't bother man, we've all heard it before.

Broli
12-14-2006, 01:14 PM
serious

have u ever known me to care what you guys say??

NO

so why would i lock a thread cause i felt insulted?

that is stupid, it was a joke, i didn't have time to add anything to it, the subject arrived just after i locked it, i was gonna add a post to state i am locking this thread because u guyz are assbstds, but i didn't get to,
(it is not professional to have the board open infront of my clients, and once one of my clients new the board (focus) i was on, cause he was a memeber) so . . . i always put my email on the screen when my subjects enter the room.

i was with the client for about an hour and i came back, to fix it, and i saw ur guys posts,

u can believe what you want, really,

but i thought u guys had a better understanding of who i was, i suppose not

either way this thread is way off topic now . . .

RedRaptor
12-14-2006, 01:23 PM
Meh...way off topic now...but with your reasoning, I think George Bush's invasion of Iraq was a joke too. He had the power of the US Army while you had the Lock button. If you ask me...mods should not lock anything "as a joke" and they should show a little more restraint and professionalism than that.

Broli
12-14-2006, 01:29 PM
yes i totally agree, i appologize for locking the thread for my own personal amusment

my reasoning does not support ur statement.

things are not black and white, the same reasoning does not apply to world politics and webforum politics. the scope is different! hence the reasoning may require altering

Back on topic, I heard about this story on last night's news, and I can only hope those two 'kids' get what they deserve.

I just made a mental note not to eat any more cheesecake. :)

As for this thread... frankly, I commend them. I'm 100% against street racing and against glamourizing it on the web as well.

It's people driving like idiots on the street that give everyone in the modified car scene a bad name and draw unwanted attention. If you want to race, you go to a track. Otherwise you should face the consequences.

On another board that I moderate, we disallow all posts dealing with streetracing for this reason. You can't just say it's wrong and then give props to people posting about doing it or posting videos of it.

street racing is wrong
period

agreed

i dont have a moral problem with it

i have a problem when they fark up and kill people

if ur street racing and you die or kill the spectators (when they do it in the industrial areas)
well meh, i dont care, u took the risk to be there.

if u do i on the streets where u can hit someone innocent, u r an asfark and sure u deserve to be punished

but still, i like to watch the videos (and thats the problem, not with me but with many)
