so i need an oil change soon.. i don't go to the dealer to get it done but i do go out of my way to see Joe @ MoT instead of going to oakville mazda which is 5min away from my house.. here's why..
yesterday i called him at 5PM and asked to put the filter on hold for me. knowing parts closes at 5:30PM i asked him to leave it at the reception.. Joe just told me to go see Jeff that he'll have it.. i got to MoT at around 5:45 or 6 and I went to see Jeff.. to make the long story short, Joe got caught up when the wifey called to pick him up (and i don't blame him ;) heh) and he forgot to leave the filter.. Jeff called Joe and as soon as he picked up i could hear "ohhhhhh Sh!!!!!!!!!t" lol..
Joe asked how much longer i could wait at the dealership.. wow.. i wasn't really expecting for him to come back, so i said i can stick around, bug Jeff and then play some games on my w810i :)
I saw a mod Jeff is keeping hush hush for now.. suckas!!!! and we chatted about the mazda2 and the new 6.. and before i could get myself comfortable in the waiting area, Joe arrived with a hottie and 2 cutie-pies :) few minutes later i had the filter and was out the door..
Props to Joe for UBER service and Jeff for entertaining me and a NICE MOD!!! ;)
i've gone for parts to MoT ever since i've owned the car and will continue doing so as long as Joe is there!!!

Hey maj, it was my fault brotha. I was suprised how fast I got back to Yonge/Steeles from Kennedy/407.
Next time you should probably buy a 6 pack of filters.

If its the same thing that he showed me last week, then I know what you are talking about. It's coolio. :)
+1 on MoT parts. I love that they are so close to me. I've been there about 7-8 times since I got the car in May/June. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Joe is the man.

Joe's service is awesome...i still remember when he came in on a Saturday (his day off) at Subaru/Suzuki cause he had my Aerio stubby on him and I wasn't showing up to the meet that day.
Joe, is the best for parts for sure!!!
But onto the real important thing....
....Jeff, mod? Explain.

+4 for Joe. He's the reason I am even considering getting my services done at MoT. Total stand up guy and makes MoT reputable. I get all my parts from Joe as well!
Jeff's new mod eh?...its blue...and if you searched really hard on another forum, you might just find it. ;)

Although that is his new mod, the one I think Majic is referring to is sitting in a box in Jeff's desk still. :)

joe is indeed the shizzay
given the fact i live so far away, he lets me in on price discounts to gouge the local dealers for here...
ive made the trip out there once, for abig item (led tails), i wouldn't personally make the trip out there all the time...(unless its a really big price item)

Joe definalty gets props from me! I just bought snow tires, remote car starter, oil change and wiper blades. Joe got everything ready for me and when I get there at 8:30 he got the car in the shop and stuff happening. 1:30 rolls around and there still working on the car. and being I had to work at 3:30 back in cambridge I asked for a rental car becasue I had to get back. Joe very quickly got the calls in to get me a car that I could take for the night and return the next day to get my car. If he had his car there he was even willing to let me borrow his to use to get back...Talk about taking care of the customer...I get to work hour late and work my breaks to make up the hour...Call the next morning, car is ready, Awsome I drive back up and Joe even had them wash my car...and it was DIRTY lol....I go to pay and they tell me the rental is no charge! I was like holy cow I was expecting to pay that. Joe took me out and showed me how the new remote works and everything with the remote starter. BIG PROPS TO JOE and Props to the service team!

Thanks chewski!
I bet you if you took the car anywhere else for tires they would tell you that you would have to buy the 205/55R16 only. The 195/55R16 set-up makes your car look lowered plus you'll cut through the snow better.
If you have any questions about the Mazda starter feel free to PM me.

Yeah.... Joe is the man! He also probably remembers my Visa card number as well ;) When I go in for my next oil change..... I gotta get him to come upstairs to see me..... Once I start that walk downstair to the "toy room"..... I start to dream up things to buy..... Thanx Joe for all the parts! not much left to get from ya! Intake/Exhaust..... :)
Speaking of which, I have asked a couple dealers in my area for the piece that houses the bulb in the glove box and no one can find it in their system.
I will be bugging you in the new year with regards to this. Its a little housing piece that attachs with 1 screw to the top of the glove box where the lens is. You have to take out the glove box to get to it. Maybe a 3 owner in parts will know what im talkin about ; )

I wish we have the same type of Joe here in Ottawa. Whenever I have a chance to drive to MOT especially this spring and summer, I'll just drop by for a courtesy call.
