Post up your favourite extensions and themes.. i'm compiling a list right now.. might take a while :P

taaadaaa... enjoy.. here's the list..

Disable XPI Install Display (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/775/)
Install this before any others. It removes the 3-5 second delay before installing the addons..
Adblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/10/)
Removes almost all ads that get in the way of your surfing!
Adblock Filterset.G Updater (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1136/)
Provides and updated filter for Adblock
Anonymouser (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1415/)
This is great for the sites that limit the download to 1 per IP (like rapidshare). Browse to the site once with regular account.. another time with Anonymouser and again with BrowseAtWork.. you've just tripled your download limits :) not to mention the advantage of using such tool for surfing NSFW stuff from work ;)
BrowseAtWork (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2059/)
Read above.
BugMe Not (http://roachfiend.com/archives/2005/02/07/bugmenot/)
Don't you just hate signing up to a site/forum just to get 1 article? Sweat no more.. BugMe Not will do that for you :)
Customize Google (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/743/)
aaaaah google.. too much to explain.. check it out yoursleves
Copy Plain Text (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/134/)
I HATE IT when i ctrl+c some text and it captures the formatting.. this little gem removes all of it - plain text baby!
Download Tweak Manager (http://dmextension.mozdev.org/)
meh.. just a little prettier interface.. could live without
FireFoxView (http://www.iosart.com/firefox/firefoxview/)
if you happen to browse in IE (*gasp*) you will be able to rt. click a link and open it in ffox
ForecastFox (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/398/)
Weather forecasts in the status bar.. love it!
Gmail Manager (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1320/)
Allows you to manage multiple accounts as well as access gmail with 1 click and see if you have any new mails by hovering over the icon.
GoogCal (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3837/)
1 click access to your google calendar - w0000t :)
IE Tab (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/)
If some mofo designed a website that renders in IE only, they should be shot.. all you do is you click a little icon in the status bar and that tab uses the IE rendering engine but you get the look and feel of ffox..
PDF Download (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/636/)
Just another way to manage PDFs, view, download, convert to html, etc..
Performancing (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1730/)
BROLI, install it.. and use it.. it gives you a spell check which is pretty much the only tool from this blogging suite that i use..
Perma Tabs (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2558/)
want to keep a tab for next session and ensure you can't accidentally close it.. this add-on will do it!
Resizeable Form Fields (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3694/)
So, i'm writing this post in a ****ing 2x3" window.. please.. this ad-on allows you to resize the text area to whatever your heart desires.. sick!
Screen Grab (http://andy.5263.org/screengrab/#)
ever wanted to do a screen shot of a webpage that spanned 3,4 or 10 pages? now you can with ease.. love it!!
Smiley Xtra 4 (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/375/)
not to be used daily but probably once to download all the smilies and put it in our DB ;)

Could you please mark this thread as "NSFNP" or Not Safe for Normal People. Or a Geek Alert notice would work too. Sheesh!

corrected your statement.. your previous statement was correct too but your connection is about 100x faster (no joke).. mind you 10mbit (standard) for residential is pretty kickarse.. can't wait to move to my condo.. 100mbps to my suite! :D

anyway.. back to Firefox's add ons :)

Dang, thats awesome. I thought that was your work connection. Apparently the school is running fibre optics, I dunno. Buddy a mine said he tested it at 30mb/s once.

Heck yes. No security problems, lots of addons (as majic posted) and very easy to customize if you know how to code.

I love it.

buddy.. try it.. i mean if you're an IE fanboy then you will probably remain a fanboy ;) but i remember using mosaic.. then netscape 2.0 all the way till firefox came along... never looked back.. ;)

all the 'normal' users that i've installed ffox for are like.. wow.. cool.. faster.. neato.. so hey.. all it takes is some education and market penetration

After trying FireFox about a year ago I will never go back to IE. Nice list of add-ons majic.
